Both of them were our best batsmen the previous year.

Rizwan top scored in New Zealand, scored a 100 vs SA with a pace attack of Nortje and Rabada meanwhile Fawad scored a 100 in New Zealand, 125 in the Windies and a match winning 100 vs SA. I'd say we need to get rid of the useless Azhar before any of them.

Correction: Shaheen is not already better, but he doesn’t need to do much to be better than a bowler who ended up with 178 wickets in a career that spanned over 15 years.

Shoaib is not a yardstick or a benchmark for any young Test bowler. With only 178 wickets to his name, he has zero legacy in this format.

Also, as I said in the other thread, it is a myth that Shoaib took the pitch out of the occasion. He only did it a handful of times and bowled plenty of ineffective spells on flat decks against good batsmen.

Sehwag tore him to shreds on such wickets.
