Poor running by Tremlett. Trott is left stranded and falls short of his hundred. What a total waste of the PP and the fact that England couldn't bat out the 50 overs

For the third match in a row.

They are doing that English thing - after their gargantuan effort in the Ashes they have taken their foot off the gas.

Missing three first-choice bowlers (all ODI top tenners according to the ICC) doesn't help either.

@bold yeah, but it's the batting which is struggling..

Whts UP. anyone watching this match??? ENG on a role here and impressive stuff by SHEHZAAD, really getting under the skin of the AUSSIES. hope he gets more wkts. hope ENG wins this one so the series could be fun to watch.

how is shehzad getting under the skin of the aussies? he blabbers stuff umpire has a word with him.. haddin laughs.

shehzad is a tool..

still hope eng win

out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out

At least Ajmal is showing some passion and spirit, something that has been missing from our batting lineup all series.

England won't defend the target over 50 overs, it's too small. Their only hope is taking the ten wickets.

3 down now :)

Why on earth is Clarke captaining the side. Honestly.

To be fair, Clarke is a good captain, just horribly out of form at the moment. Most of Aussies batsmen are out of form.. White the potential candidate, looks out of form too.

ball was high shouldn't of been given out :aleemdar

The umpire and the UDRS both signalled hitting. If you people want technology and the so-called correct decision, you have no choice but to accept that decision. You can't have it both ways.

Awesome!! Trott's innings starting to look maybe good

Haddin is rubbish. His keeping is average at best, he cannot build a long innings, he gets himself out to poor strokes time and time again, and he doesn't have a particularly good record in any form of cricket. Why oh why do people think he's good?

Collingwood's figures are amazing, worth a recall alone! :))

England should win this from here and stay in the series.

England need another wicket to put the pressure back on.

This looks amazing. Australia on verge of 3-0 lead ....

Agree with you, I do :yoda:

Good effort from the fringe bowlers, but there were just not enough runs in the end. again.

England batting BLOWS at the moment. seriously.

Has Luke Wright bowled, if he hasn't he has been wasted, you can't have Wright as just a batsman, get Ravi in.

Wright has bowled 2 overs. First one was economical but the second one was horrible, 6 balls on a leg stump line, one of them particularly short and slow that went for a boundary. Think he has gone for 12 off 2 and most of them were in that second over. Horrible, useless player.

Agreed, who do you think should replace him?

Kieswetter (wkt)
Strauss (c)
Bell
Pietersen
Collingwood
Morgan
Bopara
Broad
Bresnan
Swann
Anderson

We might start winning some games again with that lineup.

Bit of a downer today when practically your whole first-choice team is injured, but Australia have their fair share as well. The current England 'all-rounders' are very questionable, our batting has been useless and our second-string bowlers aren't good enough to win games consistently. I think we will lose this series 5-2, and without our entire bowling lineup we might even be lucky to win 2 games.

whippy is confused on why haddin keeps getting selected yet he selects collingwood.
solid effort

Whippy, you would still pick Collingwood? no Trott?

Collingwood is a very handy bowler and has constructed match-winning knocks in ODIs at times, unlike Trott (to date). No comparison in fielding of course.

Dunno though, Collingwood or Trott is a toss-up because Trott will probably get more runs, but will be actually add to the side overall and help them win games?

Haddin is a pointless selection, he can't have much longer left in his career, and he is not one of those players that makes you ignore his age on the basis of form. I don't think I've ever seen his batting or keeping significantly help Australia reach a win. Get Tim Paine in - the future
