What an embarrassment.

A whole day washed out and the Aussies still struggling to secure a draw.

Despite being so poor this series I see them winning the next series in India once they have a more settled line up.

16 overs 53 needed for India. Too easy now.

*yawn* I wonder when will new Zealand have a settled line up so that they can win anything

We'd mop the floor with your lot here in NZ, heck we put up a better fight against England and Aus than your "superstars".

From the remaining 90 deliveries, 11 more boundaries with a single will seal the deal for us (Alistair Campbell/LSRK style commentary :) )

All of you talking about the losing the entire day- we have had nearly 386 overs so far with another 15 to go...we have made up for 41 overs out of the 90 lost on day 1...so effectively just half a day lost

Starc coming into the attack. 15 overs 45 runs 3rpo pretty much impossible for Aus to save this one now.

1 billion people and you struggle to find a settled line up... NZ has a population of 4m...

That will leave them with a whole lot more to chose from. More difficult to have a settled line up with 1.2 billion people in the queue, as comapred to 4m.

And the population excuse is crap. If you want to compete on equal terms, go play Ireland.

Back to the game. Why is India making such a big issue from an easy chase. Pitch doesn't seem to have any demons in it if Starc and Siddle can survive for an hour pretty easily.

Credit to Indian spinners, they ran through their overs literally and also to Dhawan who raced India to 280 in no time on 3rd day.

Alan Wilkins repeatedly asking VVS why :sachin wont bat at 3 and VVS evading the question everytime. Nice flight and guile from Wilkins trying to bring VVS forward gripping battle :warne

That makes no sense :asif

You're kidding right? NZ is a country that punches above their weight in sport whether it be at the olympics, rugby league (world champs), union (world champs), cricket (semi finalists in most wcs), soccer, golf (lydia ko).

Are 1 billion Indians playing cricket? How many of them are trying to represent India? I guess it is not more than 100,000. The real first class pool would be down to 2000 odd. Smaller nations usually have a much higher available pool versus total population.

Ah the old you got more people crap. Most of our populatino lives on a dollar a day. For people cricket is a privilege. Most people settle for a regular job over dreaming of playing for India. NZ is a first world country. Also you people dont face petty politics like the sort in the SC. So cry me a river. :yk

India is a developing country..not many facilities for sportsmen

How many people struggle for survival in NZ. Its easy for people to look at sport as a viable career when survival is not a pressing concern.

Having an attacking left hander(especially against Spinners) in the middle order would be good for India. Unfortunately thus far no one to fill the boots of Ganguly in that aspect.

Indians playing really smart here, they know a bad ball will be coming.

We need <4 rpo not >6 rpo. No reason to go all guns blazing.

I guess these guys are coming from MSD's school of batting while chasing, leaving everything till the last over (Gauti will not agree with this approach)

Kohli playing sensibly here. He has the ability to accelerate at the right time. Hope he does not get out though.

Reading the posts here would make one feel as if a world class tuk tuk display is on, reality - last 10 overs 42 runs!

GG will also not agree that the nudge to slips is unbecoming of an opener :msd
