Umer Akmal has scored 129 while batting with Kamran. He scored 75 when playing with Yosuf. He has some tendencies of Afridi and he needs a dady with him to make big scores. He was the only guys who was not bothered by Aus bowling. But he ends up playing one too many shots.

We need a senior guy playing him and keeping his head down to save this match.

Siddle bounced the crap out of Ajmal for an over, hit him a couple of times and gave him some verbals at the end of the over. Ajmal just walked down the wicket after him sledging him right back

That was better than anything Akmal did in his innings :ajmal
 
If it would have missed the bat, Rudi would never have raised the finger. So why the fuss?
 
Might be worth getting Rauf on for an over or two early, he'll swing it into Watson and get him LBW
 
Who allowed Aussies to use the bat, after getting a lead of 196?

This is disgraceful. If they were not allowed to use their bats, we would already have taken 2 wickets.

Hmmm, not sure the worst test bowler in the history of Pakistan cricket is what is needed on a flat wicket.
 
Batsmen quite comfortable out there. Bowlers not hurrying the batsmen, expect some long sessions to come.
 
Katich hit on the elbow and in a little bit of discomfort but he looks like he's going to be fit to carry on.
 
On Last two tours(99 and 04) Pakistan conceded a lead of exactly 208 on both occasions!!!196 is bit of improvement actually.
in 95 we were bowled out for 97 in first innings of the series.

One more over for Aamer then give Rauf the ball and tell him to pitch it up and invite the drive for two or three overs.
 
Pakistani bowlers seem to amble in, whilst the Aussie bowlers look menacing in their run-ups.

To be fair, its Waqar who has said that Aamer is 17-ish

2x4 from Watson and it doesnt look good, Nothing in the pitch

Kamran, Yosuf, Misbah. He shuld not have played with Ameer. Misbah or Kamran shuld have came out to face one ball, why send night watchman?
