it cant be when it pitches outside leg... cos there is somthing called as blind spot... when the ball is on blind spot batsman cant see it and hence him missing the ball shouldnt be judged out... this is what my coach told me when i was 12

This is exactly why. He has to bowl over the wkt to get LBW. With his outswinger, he will be mostly pitching outside leg to the right hander and won't get LBW.
