MoYo and U. Akmal must continue this partnership for another 30-50 runs at least. Leave not too much for Misbah and Mr. Butterfingers.

Yeah......... what happened there???

Well because it was already time when Johnson's over was completed australians were pretty keen to get one over before tea, so they brought Hauritz. yousuf hit 3 boundaries and then was rightly showing the finger to Haddin "cmon get one more over in"

Thw wicket is very batsmen friendkly . The remaining runs should be a piece of cake

Haha - Khalil getting a clause put in early - if Yousuf inshallah makes a winning contribution you will be ready with that - give it a rest

The most threatening bowlers by far are MJ and Bollinger. MJ will always give scoring opportunities, but we need to survive Bollinger.

they can say what they want, the fact remains that he's outperformed ponting this series.
But he's not out performing Watson or Katich or Hussey...cos those guys play with a brain, and mostly, Umar checks in his in the pavillion as he rushes out.

More like another 99 runs

Dont expect anything from Mish-bah and the way Kamran is playing, he will do a sajdah if he gets a single

Whatever it was, Moyo got fired up. Three fours in the over. A few more like those and we're home :moyo InshaALLAH!
a cup of tea will cool him down :D make that 2 cups :)))

it would be if it were another team, with pakistan a collapse is an over away... :(

this is what I caught og the conversation.

Billy: Stop chatting to the batsman
Bollinger: I hardly said anything
Billy: I don't wanna hear it at all. (at this point Haddin pushes Bollinger away from Billy)
Ponting: You never say anything to those guys (paks)
Billy: Leave that to me

That's exactly what I heard as well.

This is what I imagined when Ponting said " You never say anything to those guys"...

I think its MJ and Hauritz........ though Yousuf showed it to him that he is the boss!!

you can put their performances down to drop catches. but stats don't lie. he's a new guy and will learn the more he plays with moyo

To be frank, they have bowled nothing so far we can't handle. All wickets were gifted away through poor shots and loss of concentration.

I don't think Hauritz will be an issue, Insha Allah

faisal iqbal got a good delivery and salman was unlucky

I completely agree. That's why I don't blame him - as long as he's willing to learn.

I do blame his brother's batting who's played criminal shots in all three innings this series. He should know better, is the SECOND MOST senior batsman in the team!!

I hope you are right or Yousuf smacks him around again so that Ponting is out of too many options and changes to apply pressure on us.

LOL! Great bit of detective work to figure that one out. Are you Hercule Geordie Poirot? :)

butt was unlucky but their took an amazing catch...we must concentrate on winning and forget everthing else for now...Inshallah victory is close..

moyo fighting back..I hope he hits the winning runs...

If that happens......... then it will be "poetic justice". Cricinfo ppl will go crazy writing all sorts of articles.

How long did it take for Watson to start playing with his brain? 5 years? This is Umar's fifth match.

99 runs left

If Siddle/Hussey could get a 100 partnership, it should be alright for our next 7 wickets to get these runs

Inshallah

Thanks yaar, didn't realize it. Tells you I don't play for myself. :D
LOL! You can't play in the Indian middle order then...if you don't play for records ;-)

Difference being - they are not gifting us easy singles and there bowlers are looking threatening

Looks like someone forgot to show Mark Butcher the new PP banner before he converted to a Pakistani fan:

4 recognized batsmen left.............. 99 runs to take it home!!

so we need 25 runs more from each of them............... or simply 50s from Yousuf and Umar to finish it off.

our openers doing well , we need a genuine one down player, who can hold his wicket and play under pressure.

Aye - if only there is a guy out there that averages 50 in test cricket and has played at 3 numerous times for us - Hmmmm, i cant think of anyone :13: :13: :13:

Definitely, the new ball shine has worn out. It's a near perfect scenario for Umar to showcase his skills.

I wouldn't agree with that.............. already they have misfielded 3,4 boundaries and gifted us atleast 10 runs.

That's what test matches in Pak/India are like when you live in the states. Sucks, so many days I went to school to take exams on zero sleep...

I really don't think there are any fans as passionate (or insane, funny how thin that line is) about an international sport as pakistan cricket fans are. ;-)
