Funny, for two batsmen, both considered limited over specialists more than test players who started with a bang, Marsh and Warner, all of a sudden don't look so good now. Third duck from five tests for Marsh.

Think Marsh will come good again, not so sure about Warner though. Wasn't even terribly consistent in limited overs either.

India would be really happy to restrict Australian within 250 here...... remember Aussies need to bat last.

still think Aussies will get a good score here, this ground is supposed to be a pretty high scoring ground, at least for an Aussie ground anyway. Gonna be tough getting them out. In fact I'm pretty shocked India got out for under two hundred here too.

Seems like India have enough runs on board. Australian batting line up looks very fragile. Need to find better opening batsmen before the Ashes, or else it's going to be again very one sided.

am I the only one thinking this or has Sharma been demoted? Usually he opens the bowling with Zaheer, but Dhoni seeing how well Yadav has been bowling has now made Yadav to open the bowling with Zaheer, with Sharma now 3rd bowler. Kind of shows not much faith in Sharma when him a veteran of fourty or so tests now is replaced by a guy who's played just four.

I would do the same with a bowler who thinks a spelling change in his name will make him bowl like Waqar Younis

Sharma 4 tests in oz picked up 8 wickets at a 50+ average. Yadav 1 match has taken 7 wickets at 25 average, If I was Dhoni I would have picked Yadav as well. :asif

India would be in drivers seat, if they restrict Aussies here to 250..... do not see Aussies chasing 250 in the 4th innings.

still, if it takes just one test to usurp Sharma from his bowling position makes you realise just how low Dhoni's expectations of Sharma were to make a break through when opening the bowling, and why Inshant's in the team. If it takes just one test to move in front of Inshant in the pecking order, you might as well get a debutant in for him instead. Can't be that hard to find someone who can beat Inshant's performance in one test. Sharma didn't even bowl that badly last test opening the bowling in the first innings, despite him not picking up wickets, he bowled pretty well

such a famed batting lineup India has.. why cant they play abroad ?? lol.. ghar kay shair, valaiti choohayy

Even Pattinson opened the bowling for Australia, I think what the captains were looking for were the fire and hunger for wickets which was seen in young Pat's firework and maybe Dhoni saw the same in Yadav and decided to go for it. Ishant didn't bowl badly but some of his balls were way too wide to be honest while Umesh pitched it up and his short balls troubled Punter and Cowan and attacked the body

well all the poor/average australian batsmen out. Only the big guns left now.

Zak has single-handedly turned the game on its head.
Ishant is wasting the pressure by bowling boundary balls.

clarke not wasting any time, strange for him really, usually a guy who usually looks for the singles and plays himself in before going for the boundaries

India need to pick few more wickets before the ball loses its shine
