LOL Bill Lawry was like "Symonds pats Bucknor on the shoulder at the end of the over and rightfully so, they've had a wonderful partnership in this match." :)))
 
Even if India looses this match, my thumps up for them. They were made to take 30 Australian wickets and to add to woes, they got just 15 wickets to play for. Despite all that, we were on top for most of the time in this match!!!!

Gilchrist appealing wrongly for Dravid's caught behind will be something to remember this test match for!
 
Ganguly Gone!!!!!!!!!! Game over for india. Aus record of 16* match now! They better be giving the umpires presents for their contributions.
 
No it was not. None of the replays were clear.

One of the replays from behinds Clarkes leg felt like it was touching the ground.

Nothing conclusive, but Harsha/ Wasim felt it was not fair. I too feel it was wrongly claimed!
 
Mark Tayler keeps claiming it was cleanly caught on the channel 9 team but it looked doubtful to me. Anyway game is over as ump decision is final.

Replays aren't conclusive I'm afraid
Ganguly stands his ground, disgusted, and finally walks off. Replays suggest there is some doubt about whether it carried or not.

Yes, that angle is clear enough to show he claimed a bumped catch!

Ponting words were taken for the catch!

Gavaskar says- "a guy who didn't walk back when he was out at 14, why his word is taken? This is "NONSENSE"/ "UTTER NONSENSE". Why was 3rd umpire not consulted"

dhoni needs to do smething special. Dedicate this innings to Deepika or something, show why she should be with him instead of that loser Yuvraj.
 
Gavaskar's voice has become shrill he's speaking so aggressively. Control mr gavaskar, as a commentator you should be able to maintain your composure.
 
these aussie comentators should be shot to death like they kill injured horses.

Just as Symonds does not deserve to be MOM but both these events will occur I am afraid.

ESPN screwing umpires/ Ponting big time. They are repeatedly showing the scene when ponting nick the ball and didn't walk and kept batting. Second, when Ponting claimed catch which was false, third, when clark didnt walk off when he he nicked it and waited for umpire to raise finger.

Gavaskar is agitated why Ponting/ Clark words were taken when their conduct itself has been very bad!

Meanwhile, another angle confirms Ganguly was not out!

Umpiring has been so poor that I'm speechless. That Dravid dismissal was unbelievable. Bat nowhere near bat and given out. Bucknor is out of his mind.

The Clark catch though, I think was clean.
 
The aussies shouldnt use the excuse of their team creating more chances thats why they get more favorable decisions, the umpiring is beyond bad and way in favor of OZ.

Ponting = bump catcher -for the catch that moron claimed when he grassed it

Clarke = bump catcher -for the catch that moron claimed when entire world feels that it was inconclusive
 
how can the cheat Ponting convince the umpire that the catch was clean

Ganguly, after he nicked that stood long and hard, not convinced that CLarke had caught it, the Australians had no doubt it was out, Ponting motioned to Benson that it was taken and Benson raised the finger.

Well this is flaring up actually and I'll be surprised if some serious action is not taken following this match. Clarke had in fact grounded the ball twice when he attempted to take the catch of Ganguly. Sunil Gavaskar is absolutely livid with what has happened. His question is that how can you take the word of a person who didn't walk after edging a delivery down the leg side and a person who waited for the umpire's decision even after smashing one to the 1st slip. He is talking about Ponting in the first innings and Clarke in the second innings respectively. I can't scan my memory for a match which was more shameful than this one as far as the umpiring standards are concerned.
 
Why dont they show the hot spot on the ground
 
THE wierd thing is Benson asked Ponting and not Bucknor he should never have asked ponting
 
All drama aside- India needs to play 26 overs to save this game. Pretty much possible!

Imy, i think its cause you need the thermal sensing camera for that and they only have 2 aimed at the stumps for catching nicks and stuff.

The inital take was clean but as he rolled over he grassed the ball quite obviously. And it happened right infront of his eyes so it was a very disgraceful display.

147 kph from lee and bhajji comfortably defends it off the front foot. Is it the pitch? tail enders have been exceptional in this match.

Symonds is bowling beautifully in the rough.

Despite India losing, its pretty disgusting to see how pumped the aussies are celebrating cosnidering how many bad decisions there were.
 
As an Indian fan I am happy we lost because now atleast they will make a big deal about umpiring. If it was draw then they might have not cared.

Man, what a sad end to the match, which could/should have gone the other way.

Commiserations Indian fans.

There's no interest left in this series thanks to the incompetent umpires.

Bucknor should be let loose in a gay club or even a visit to one of the local prisons with a bar of soap on the floor to which he bends down to pick it up, that'll teach him. :D

The commentators apologized after the interview to the viewers if anyone was offensed by it

Well played India. After MCG debacle, great fight shown in this match!

A 2-0 deficit doesn't speak about certain things which weren't actually in control.
But despite this loss, it was a great effort by this team. Good luck for next two test matches.
