it has progress from last year

last year captain were

younis khan, Misbah,azhar ali,Shoaib malik and sarfraz

this year

imad wasim, fakhar zaman,anwar ali,rizwan and umar akmal

though one might argue this is due to west indies test series but still good to see young captains

really disappointed with the exclusion of saud , saif badar and usama mir and more so by seeing the bowling attack of our domestic teams full of trundlers. PCB must somehow show Quaid e azam trophy live so we can actually see who are our good fast bowling prospects and what these trundlers hold before them. If by chance some youngster gets a chance in playing eleven, he is made to bat as a slogger.

If it is really necessary to play these senior domestic players with no hope and technique,then PCB must make one or two new teams only for youngsters.

Sindh have a lollipop attack consisting of Rumman, Gul and Anwar. Simply hearing the aforementioned trios names' strike fear in the heart of the batsman.
 
Someone post emerging players on both teams plz. Sahibzada Farhan looks decent yaar
 
Second decent start for farhan. Hopefully he goes for a bigger score than a half century
 
Fakhar zaman set very good field in the first match , looking forward to see how he captains today.

Bismillah khan at number 3 is a bummer though.

He's very strong on the back foot, not entirely convinced with his front foot game.

Overall, would wait until he plays against Federal, who have the best bowling attack of the tournament.
 
Fakhar is playing well ANOTHER FIFTY FOR HIM.happy for him should be opening instead of shehzad in CT
 
I hope Fakhar gets a 100 here, so he won't get dropped from the ODI squad

need a big innings from Saad and Yamin, should look for 300+ otherwise Balochistan will struggle, Sindh have a strong batting line-up

I havent been all that impressed with him so far. He seems decent but nothing extraordinary. Both of these batsmen have been going really slow against part timers here with no real intent at all. The last boundary that was scored was due to a misfield.

And as I write that, hes dismissed. GREAT catch by Umer Gul!

Agreed. After bunting around the parttimers like Fawad Alam and Asif Zakir for singles and dot balls without any attacking intent, he finally tries to play a shot against their better bowler Rumman Raees, and fails to clear midoff.
 
the mindset behind not sending Aamer Yamin who they think is destined to slog in the last 10 overs only, so cannot make him to bat in overs 35-40...:facepalm:
 
Someone was hyping these mediocre Rameez Aziz and Saad Ali with no flow in their batting while down playing Umar Amin.

Many wanted Saad Ali in their team.

saad is good player u cant judge him by one innings plus age is on his side..he can improve but what to do with 36 years old ??is he better??
 
Umar Amin, Haris Sohail, Junaid Khan, Maqsood, Sami Aslam, out of all these why did they give the captaincy to Anwar ali is no idea... If Anwar ali wasnt the captain then no team would have selected him or played him i guess...

i think he will also bat him at no.11 may be or no.10 just above rumman raees...
