Bangladesh will host Pakistan for 2nd T20I of the series at Dhaka on July 22.

The hosts lead the visitors by 1-0 in the three match T20I series. The two nations, who previously contested in as many T20Is in Pakistan earlier will be vying against each other in the shortest format again.

Having faced a heavy defeat in the series opener, Salman Ali Agha lead side will look on to level the series.

We have good batting lineup for atleast asian conditions(can argue for bouncy conditions but not good for seamy conditions). These guys have the skills required for any asian condition they just have to change gameplan, target 160 instead of 200

Idkw Pakistan left this formula in the past. Had we shoved aside wahab riaz then our team in the past could have been much stronger. Only wahab flunked it but escaped due to world cup one match wonders.

Saim is too good of a talent to miss out on long term. But the competition for opening slot is tight. So he may need to perform soon.

He has a good technique for someone so young. Technique wise he is better then Brooks, Rachin, JFM, Sam Konstas wtc etc.

But none of that matters if he cant actually perform. Brooks despite not having the best defensive technique and having a habit of mistiming is consistently dominating in SENA atm.

On flat tracks especially no one except Gill and Jamie Smith has managed to outperform him and this includes Pakistan tracks.

He was the best player vs NZ as well.

Saim atm hasnt done a damn thing. He performed well in odi vs Aus and SA, but you cant keep hiding behind the injury excuse forever.

He is fully fit now and has played enough. The excuses are diminishing.

Saim shouldnt be rested as he needs to play to get his for back and he can ball a few overs. Haris should be dropped he played a few fluky innings in Lahore and that has cemented his place until 2030 obviouslly but Farhan should keep and play instead of him.

Allowing players to try and express themselves and not worry about getting out is part of the process. These are worst pitched for T20 to be honest and rarely around the world you will find such. Certainly you won't find them in Asia Cup and WT20.

Same thing happened with the new boys when they toured UAE to play Afghanistan for 3 match T20Is when Shadab was captain. Those were such bad pitches as well. Saim and Harris were then sidelined from the format citing their lack of performances on such pitches in the series.

The vision going forward up until WT20 is right from Hesson. These are small hiccups. No need to panic.
