In such a system.....the best you can come up with includes a guy getting tonked by Bangladesh.

Teams do get by on more limited resources - thats true. But thats a matter of luck, and going against the grain.

That can happen to any team in an ODI match. Kevin O' Brien took Ireland to a nearly improbable win (improbable even for a regular ODI side) against England that included Anderson, Broad and Swann.
