BCCI to bid for 2025 Champions Trophy, 2028 T20 WC, 2031 ODI World Cup

The moment the 'The Big 3' tried to make the point of hosting the majority of ICC tournaments that was the day the ICC was made redundant.

There comes a time when enough is enough. If those countries want to play the big boys on their own maybe they should also play all their games against each other and leave everyone else compete against each other.

It's quiet sickening certain countries can dictate what they can and cannot do.

Isn't this the case already?

Africa should get the wc bid..their crime is one time it was hosted in africa the icc money making team India and Pakistan missed the business end of the tournament

When did that happen? India made the 2003 final in Africa and Pakistan made the T20 world cup final in 2007. Are you talking about the West Indies 2007 world cup? :)) Just for your information, the West Indies is not in Africa, it's in the Caribbean just south of America, it's part of the American continent. This is basic geography.

Pakistan is most deserving to host at least 2 two tournaments it's been a long time since 1996 that we hosted any ICC event

2024 T20 World Cup will probably be in West Indies and USA.
2026 T20 World Cup am guessing will go to England.

ODI World Cup - not sure where 2027 will go. Should probably go to South Africa if there is any semblance of fairness. Hopefully some back channel talks can happen and South Africa will bid.

Champions Trophies will be interesting. A good opportunity to spread it around a bit. Sri Lanka might get one, hopefully Bangladesh don't as it is just a terrible place to play cricket and even worse place for a world tournament. Maybe Pakistan can get hosting rights for one too though I suspect it would majority be held in UAE with semi finals and final in Pak.

If this is the case, will all parties involved be ok with playing matches at 9:30 AM local time?

Yes, that will be fine.

The last time the T20 world cup was held in West Indies, some matches did indeed start at 9.30am local time. Others at 1.30pm.

It will kinda defeat the purpose of hosting a tournament in the United States though, it will be a horrific failure if the matches are held with the Indian audience as the primary determinant of the timings.

We saw with the exhibition matches between Tendulkar and Warne six years ago that if the matches are marketed properly, there's a sizeable audience in America.

Nonetheless, I won't be shocked to see the ICC mess up the organization of another tournament.

ICC money comes from Indian audience.

If priority is given to the host country audience/fans, will the ICC and the individual boards be ok with getting less $$? Because Disney is not going to just give away $$$ to ICC without a solid way to recover those $$ in a way that they control.

Do try and keep up, the point was it makes no sense to host a tournament in the United States if the ICC are not prepared for a reduction in the rights value from Indian broadcasters. If maximization of the broadcast rights is the ICC's objective, no tournament should ever be held outside Asia.

Wait till the timing of the matches is published.

Who will pay the bills of ICC and the members, if broadcasting money is reduced?

Again, there is no point to host a tournament in the United States in front of empty stadiums if matches are to start early in the morning. I am not in support of the idea in the first place.
