Bowlers dominate Bangladesh as Pakistan eye victory

A really smooth innings by Asad so far, he needs to bat like this more often.
 
Asad's built up his innings well. Very few across the line shots
 
Asad looking very positive. This is how he should always bat. It looks more natural on him.

Great great. And well said. Those losers have no real eyes on the ground and instead of supporting cricket in Pak, were just whining.
 
500 seems to be the par score for our batsmen in Tests at the moment, hopefully they will continue in the same fashion against a rampant Herath in SL. Don' t want a repeat of last year.
 
It really is tiresome to watch Azhar bat. it seems that he is never in control of the bowling, no matter how many balls he plays

600 should be achieved today. Wonder if Misbah will keep batting past that.

They sent another email a few days ago to Zimbabwe cricket board I think. Or maybe to someone else, warning against a tour.
 
it is a very very boring batting line up. It might not be visible here but on faster pitches u'll need faster scoring coz on those pithes u can't afford to get bogged down. Desparately need Umar Akmal and Babar Azam in this lineup to nullify the tuk tukk. A great example of how detrimental this style of playing can be is the 2nd test in south africa, where we lost the momentum bcoz of slow scoring.

Our test batting is doing its Job , they might be one domesional but they are well settled and the best pakistan have.

Umar Akmal is mentally incapable of playing longer format of the game , he should stick to t20s.

Haris and babar will have their chances after yk and misbah.

This is all wishful thinking. The less said about players that have forgotten how to last 15 balls the better

I genuinely feel that he can be a better test bat than a one day one, since he hardly gets out behind the wicket. There he can also play his attacking game and not worry about getting caught on the boundary.

u need one impact player on away tours especially australia. U can't survive there by just grafting

Well , against herath we are definitely going to struggle.

We're still lacking quality openers. I expect Babar to take one of the spots but don't expect much from Sami right now. I hope he can fix his defensive flaws soon because he has the offensive game.
 
Why don't the two teams just shake hands and walk off considering the game to be a draw? It will save a lot of time as we already know that the game is headed that way.

Soumya Sarkar has actually contained the runs pretty well here. Conceding at under 3.
