There has been a lot of discussion about Canada’s stance on Khalistanis, just want to see discuss their stance on other issues, so i don’t derail other threads

This is from today
1.October 15, 2024 - Ottawa, Ontario

Today, the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Public Safety, Democratic Institutions and Intergovernmental Affairs, announced that the Government of Canada has listed Samidoun, also known as the Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, as a terrorist entity under the Criminal Code.

2. Canada abstains from United Nations General Assembly resolution on the Advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice on the legal consequences arising from Israel’s policies and practices in the Occupied Palestinian Territory

3.Canada imposes additional sanctions in response to Hamas’ terrorist attacks against Israel

All from Canada’s website

So if you disagree with a topic or have issues with it, you end up creating a thread against Pakistan.

If Canada is acting against India, then God Bless Canada :salute

If Canada is acting against Palestinian interests, then :murali

Maybe on a Pakistan forum we are here to learn more about Pakistan instead of a half-baked ileletrate take on everything that happens in India from people who come across as they never picked up a book (not you personally)

Yes kind of hard to understand, they are much more ruthless against Palestine they must have all the proof which they dont want to share.

OTTAWA, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Canada, in coordination with the United States, on Tuesday designated the pro-Palestinian group Samidoun as a "terrorist entity" alleging that it had links with another terrorist-designated group, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

@sweep_shot and @offstump this is news from an hr ago.. you agree here too right.

Should we all be happy? This seems much more serious because this is a ban.

Indians are expected to take Trudeau seriously when he even bans charities related to Palestine.

This just shows how the rule of law applies to anyone or any entity committing crimes in Canada. I agree with this, why wouldn’t I?

You are not here to learn about Pakistan when you accept Modi sound bites unconditionally, and cannot survive unless you and your ilk mention Pakistan at every turn, even the OP is an example.

Nothing wrong with that, but save the drama you are here to learn about Pakistan.

On topic of this thread.

Here is some homework, Holocaust denial is a crime in Canada. The only nation outside of Europe. Think hard and why, read up on it, then you will realise Canada's stance on Palestine.

You can all thank me all later for saving you time against pretend wannabe Canadians.

But, Canada is the land of freedom of speech as per Mr. Trudeau. Rule of law and respect for international agreements and treaties. If Canada has done it, it must be right. World should emulate everything that Canadian PM says and does.

Agnostic of canada's stance, pakistanis are to continue beeline to the promised land.

Apparently land of the pure ain't pure enough.

I really don’t understand the point you’re trying to make. They are banning a “charity” that was using its funds for the wrong purposes. This is how you deal with terorrism and violent extremism. If anything it’s something to emulate.

Point I’m trying to make is Canada’s policy is based on whims of Liberal and NDP leaders, their stance on Israel the aggressor is equally annoying.

What’s the proof given for banning the charity here?

The liberals are the current government in power, why wouldn’t they make policies and garner the support of coalition members in government? This is how a democracy works. I still don’t get your point.

Again with the proof, it’s getting tiring. Why would any of us know what proof was given, I’m not sure about you but I don’t have national security clearance nor am I a government official privy to sensitive information related to terrorist activities.

Which is fair that’s why we both can agree Canada can make their stance as they want, on Israel India Palestine Russia Ukraine, doesn’t mean the world abides by it.
