Congratulations Sachin Tendulkar on hundred 100s! [Finally!]

Is it true that Tendy will be opening the innings by himself and Sehwag will be coming in at first drop?
 
Do not be surprised if you get to see the craziest ever 100 celebration from Tendulkar on getting this one. The wait has been killing and hence the pleasure would be IMMENSE. I'd be jumping around, that i know for myself :D

I think he is destined to do it against Bangladesh in a non-pressure situtation on a flat deck in Dhaka where even the Bengalis will score 400+ (mind you doesnt take a lot of effort doing that against Indian bowling on any track). He will probably come in to bat when its 200-2.

That would be quite symbolic.. reminding everyone how Tendulkar got most of his 100 centuries, apart from the odd fluke here or there.

It's a phony record. Just give it up - don't worry about it and it will come in time.
Whether he scores it or not - it doesn't really matter - but now it has become farce and putting too much pressure on him.

Not talking about him. I am talking about the fans. If some number crunching geek hadn't come up with the stat no one even in India would have cared and he may well have already scored the elusive ton. The fans and media have made this into a meaningless circus.
 
come on Sachin give it up. you are still one of the greatest players ever played with or without scoring that 100th 100. no one will beat that 99 century record.

No one is denying that. Cricket wouldn't exist without the fans obviously.
The question is though does it really matter how many centuries he scores or will score? Indian fans should be mores concerned with how many games they have won since his last century and how many they will win after he scores it.

The team, as always has to come first. The media here typically starts its score updates with talk about how Terndulkar's latest attempt to score a century is coming on. It is the wrong way around.
 
It's because Indian Cricket owes a hell lot to this man. He is the reason why Cricket is THAT big in this country.

No, this guy cannot be Jeerablade for all money! I had bit of a banter with him but he was a good friend, too.

Not that Namak_Halaal isn´t - just that I am sure about this.
