well congrats to Sachin but three points stand out in this 'achievement':
1. He did it against Bangladesh of all the teams
2. He took sooo long to do it
3. India may lose as Sachin has scored a 100 (we will have to wait and see though)

only if we had a Ajmal instead of these jokers
NH mate, now I can't wait to see that trilogy being completed, you have the perfect script![]()

Dhoni: "They played better cricket throughout. At the start of the Powerplay our bowlers felt the pressure, a bit more runs on the board would have been better. The youngsters will learn more. Bangladesh can play really well on their day, they used the conditions well, their reverse swing bowling was good. We have been waiting for a long time for Sachin to get this (hundred)."

BUT Sachin wasn't thinking about the milestone
After being dismissed for 114, he said: "I was not thinking about the milestone. It hasn't sunk in."

How ironic that the most anticipated day for Indian fans which has been awaited for so long through missing out in the WC, getting out lbw to Bresnan in England, caught off Michael Clarke at slip etc etc has turned into a more memorable and enjoyable day for Pakistani fans.
Yes he was thinking about setting a winning total on this track. I bet when in his 90s Teenda had nothing in his mind not the match, not the target to set, not the tournament, but just his 100th SHATAK.
Sometimes I wonder if Tendulkar really is a product of his longevity. He's a great player but are the stats due to his greatness or longevity?
Dude, he is one of the greats, no one can deny that. But it's also true that he puts his records above everything else - today was a great example.

If you read my post you'd see that I called him a great. But longevity has played a great role in his records.
Tendulkar awarded a plaque as a footnote to the presentation. I feel sorry for him... almost.![]()
His first century against us after 11 tries. Well done Sachin. You are one of the greatest ever to play the game. Congrats on something that may not be broken ever (and I thought it would be difficult to break gavaskar's mile stone). It took him 12 months to achieve the milestone - that too against the mighty Bangladesh - and then went on to lose the match!
Excellent player, but this is simply EPIC!![]()
Lovely snail like hundred to bat 147 bals you would expect most batsmen to maybe get 150+ in a ODI. well done Mr selfish! another hundred in a losing cause!
