under the lights the wicket is gonna bounce, seam and swing...plus its already taking very good spin...kiwi batsmen wont know what hit them...

I really hope that Vettori saying they can chase 300 is not making Pakistan think they need that many to win this game. It is a total bluff and I guarantee they will struggle to get past 200 unless Taylor or McCullum produce matchwinning knocks. Under lights I back Pakistan to blow this NZ lineup apart
 
this sucks..! I was thinking they were gonna put up a big score given that we got a good start..
 
I think Rana Naved has a chance today to play a sensible, good innings.

Need to really look at getting 4 or 5 singles every over. Risk free cricket, but nothing is happening out there.
 
Pitch is slow guys, not the belter we were expecting it to be. The batsmen have to adjust to the slowness before attempting to play airy-fairy shots. Anything between 220-250 will be enough
 
Australia was 99/4 6 yrs ago and they made 300 because of Symonds. Inshallah we will make 300 because of Akmal
 
Yeah if it was a day game then 300 to stay in the game. Under lights 250 gives us a good chance.
 
Well Pakistan will be lucky to get 250 from here, unless someone settles and starts blazing.

Even the lower order doesn't look particularly strong.
 
I think Vettori was smart at the beginning of the game by saying that his team would be happy to chase anything under 300. That seems to have added to some pressure as well.

Betting odds on him succeeding in scoring a 50 today in this pressure are probably 1 out of 10

Well Duh..Obviously! if he doesn't perform in a big match, hes going to be labelled as that.

Sarkar -- Pak batsmen are under severe pressure so they are making the wicket look way more difficult than it really is.
 
Vettori's last ball was faster than Ishant's fastest of the tournament.
