Massive wicket really.

New Zealand have got an iron grip on this innings. Pakistan are around 50 runs short of what they should be at the moment.
 
Played on :(. Yousuf tried to put it down to third man again but it is too close and instead gets an inside edge onto the wicket

No. He needed to get another 30 or so off his next 15 to be considered a good knock.

wicket just lost at the wrong time... rest of the batsmen to come are not reliable at all
even umar is looking a bit shoddy today

Yousuf should be thrown out. He always plays like this..eats up balls and scoreres 40 odd for hsi average....
 
Yousuf did all the hard work and took the balls to get in as well but unable to show us the prestige of his innings and turn it all around :(
 
We should be targetting 250 from here. I think its a good enough total for a semi final.

That is the wrong way of doing things. At no point should you let the balls faced become too much greater than runs scored.

Urgency is the name of the game. Moyo should learn from Umar.
 
Pakistan need 100 off the last 10 overs here.

Afridi has to play 3-4 overs calmly, let Akmal have the maximum strike.
 
Fifty for Umar Akmal ... very well played .... you have to go on though.... time to introduce Umar Akmal to the whole cricketing world.
 
Afridi has to play a v.captain's innings...his time to shine on big occasion in the ODI format...

I do agree that there should have been more intent but the fact is that Moyo has almost always done it that way and it should be expected by now. When it comes off (and with Yousuf it does more often than not) it is brilliant but sometimes it doesn't and looks very mediocre

Not necessarily wrong. Just high risk. If you accumulate then get out then it looks crap. If he accelerated at the right time it would've been fine and dandy.
 
Surely we can get 100 in last 10 overs if Afridi sticks around for 7 of those.
