guys, it's really easy to comment sitting at homes just watching what's happening
pitch is typical Indian pitch, i don't think there is any moment or some help for fast bowlers out there, is there any ? even it's 1st day

in last match, when bowlers got eadg, feilders dropped them

u guys complaining that Dani was ON after just 8 overs, just watch in Pak inn, if we got good start, spinners will b on both end after 10 overs

I keep on saying .... our Fast Bowlers are not doing that Bad....

u have to take 2 basic things into account.

1 - Indian Batting lineup has quality Batsmen, People like Dravid, Shewag, tendulkar and even ganguly ( i rarely see him getting out to good balls, usually its him throwing his wicket to he can get back to the laptop to disscuss the startagy with JW)

2- The pitches are a joke for Fast Bowlers, there is never going to extravegent amounts of movement, a ballers best bet to swing it in the air, which too will only happen on cloudy morning or if the game starts @ 7 in the morning local time.


The reason Balaji was so successfull, was not because he did something out standing ... if you loook at how our batsmen got out at mohali, u'd realize that its just our top order which is a joke. A quality batsmen like inzi put all the indian line-up in their rightfull place.

so the contest is and will always going to be between Batsmen of both side, and unfortunately enough ... our batsmen are not as great as their indian counter parts.

No doubt we are bowling to a quality batting lineup, but being honest I can't see this bowling attack with the exception of Kaneria causing any other batting lineup many problems either.

Sami was toothless with the new ball, as we have become more or less resigned to. Khalil - appeared to be following out a plan to keep it directed short towards Sehwag, and stopped Sehwag from blisterign him but didn't have him in trouble at any stage.

Balaji and Pathan are not outstanding either, but they have alot more tricks up their sleeve than Sami and co. Also with them bowling one can see some semblance of a plan as to how to get a batsman out.Balaji or Pathan, after bowling 3 deliveries shaping away from the batsman will get one to come back in which may catch the batsman by surprise. Our bowlers appear to be pin all their hopes on one ball. With Khalil it was the continuous short stuff to Sehwag, while Sami kept peppering it outside off without getting a single ball to shape back in.

Not missing much. Khalil has gone for 15 in 7 balls. Anyhow the pitch is relatively slow but Sami did get it to bounce and carry. The other two are bowling in the late 70s so difficult to tell.

THere was a bit of turn for Kaneria but looked a little slow.

The rest of Khalil's over has been better and he needs to keep it tight. Afridi has also kept it tight.
