Sami is the best we have in this squad. Its not as if we have much choice. I have said it before and I would say it again that he has bowled his heart out today. Swung the ball both ways and got bounce out of this dead track. Comprehensively beat tendulkar with pace, bounce and swing.

by giving 200% and bowling his heart doesnt mean that he is a great bowler and can take wickets when it really matter. even Bangladeshis give their 200% and bowl their heart out. i wud say Mashrafe Murtaza is better than Sami

Amjid i see huge potential in Sami. Ive followed his progress since he made his debut and i can tell you that he is special. Maybe you and others dont see it and i can understand why. For someone of his potential the past year has been difficult for him. He had a good New Zealand tour and then had a wretched Indian tour. His dip in form started then. He looked like he was getting back to his best against Sri Lanka at Faislabad but again injury prevented and stopped any momentum and rhythm he was getting. Same in the Australia tour. He was bowling well in Perth with Shoaib but again that foot injury ruined the rhythm that he had built up.

If he can keep injury free then im sure that with the grace of Allah he will get back to the form of taking wickets that we all know he is well capable of!
