Piece of cake for India now, two capable batsmen still to come, India's game to lose.

Consistent performer in IPL his chance has come very late in last Zim tour.

Age is just a number but not in Misbah's case 'cause he has well and truly lost it.
 
Should get there as I had predicted with a couple of overs to spare. On this ground its not a big ask at all. Some of the guys raving about jadhav need to understand that he is an extremely ordinary player and is used as a stop gap arrangement.

The ball has been doing a lot for seamer offlate on Kolkata mate,what are the curators doing? Saw similar things in the India vs NZ test as well, Dada trying to get pacers from Bengal or what?
 
There is some assistance from the surface at the Eden Gardens. It can be seamer friendly at times. But you have to be on the money. Bowling shirt is a cardinal sin.

Yeah, has a dodgy technique and doesn't inspire confidence with the way he plays, "ordinary" is the right word to describe him but having said that, he will walk into Pakistan team with eyes closed. Which says a thing or two about the talent we've at our disposal.
 
Just read on CB something that i forgot about T20 WC Final Stokes' disaster here but he can bet the hero as we don't have Carlos in our bats.

Conscious efforts being made by Dada to provide surfaces that challenge batters and equally reward bowlers who bowl well, had this being a day game the game would not have been so lopsided in favour of the chasing team, in the hoard of increasing the seating capacity the playing surface has been reduced to farcical limits, only someone who visits the Gardens can attest to this fact, add to it the lightning quick outfield, a mere push into the gaps will reach the boundary with ease, i had a first hand encounter in a side game 3 months back.
 
It must be really boring supporting India, they win all the time :yk3

I honestly meant that :)) It's really frustrating being a pak fan but in the grand scheme I do enjoy the roller coaster ride and spectacular highs/lows of the underdog, it just makes for a great epic. But the full blooded pak fans may disagree as am a half blood :mv You bat very deep, I thought ENG would have a sniff but am not familiar with these new faces

IPL stars bro, Pandya /Jhadav but this is a tough one eventhough these guys have done this in IPL INTL is a diff beast.

Good over from Stokes he has learnt a lot from his mistakes,will go back a stronger player from India. /match done

No i wouldn't give him that much credit. All said and done if ind doesn't win this match they need to kill themselves, what is going on ??
 
Shameful batting today by us, threw away an easy match, very very big worries with this kinda batting in Champion's trophy, top order hasn't looked so weak for years
 
Terrible playing by our bats,brought it this close but couldn't close it,hopefully they learn in future. Ash Jaddu esp need to be better than that.

If they can't chase this down under lights in Eden they should just pack their bags and go home. As easy an opportunity as anyone can get. If pak would have been batting here, they would have also won, tells you it is that simple.
