wrongun If Eng win this, someone (presumably Root, Stokes or both) will have written themselves into Ashes folklore. The chance is there with a relatively "fresh" 4 day pitch to bat on.

If Oz don't win, it'll be Lyon under scrutiny. If they do win, he will have done well.

Yeah, one of them will get a brave and battling hundred and England will fall seventy runs short. Australia to retain the Ashes today and well deserved.

Curiously, when the #11 came to the wicket, England were 70 short!

Yeah. We have got two good bowling attacks, and two terrible batting lines kept afloat by individual brilliant performances.

I still think Australia will retain the Ashes as I don't think England are good enough to win both the last two tests, while Australia just needs to win one out of the two.
