Sarfraz would win more games than Misbah for sure if he had a peak Ajmal & MoHa to call every time under pressure. Not to mention Ajmal, but with every critics intact, Hafeez was a gun player in UAE - batted like 50/85 stats (when 85 SR in UAE was like 100+ in UK these days), and bowled at an economy of ~3.9, that too mostly in PP. Add, Shahid Afridi whose 10 overs in UAE was probably more potent than any bowler today Srafraz has in his disposal. Misbah lost 0-4 to that old Pom team in UAE, which probably is the ultimate low you can get. He won in IND & SAF, but Sarfraz also won CT in UK (If I give credit to Captains for team success). Sarfraz's problem is he doesn't make the XI (squad) on playing merit, but not the worst LO Captain, certainly not in comparison to Misbah; but Misbah was one of the best player of his team.

I can explain the drop, though most might not like it, but fact.

It's about passion - if you are to force players to do a thanks less job (in cricket fielding), most cases players will falter in crunch moment under pressure. It's not about the fitness or catching technique or grooming and I am sure Arthur works the players hard enough in training, but I have hardly seen any PAK player to accept fielding as part of their game - result is bottle job under pressure. One has to think always about contributing in a team effort - that comes from passion, not practice.

This bowling length might not work in this WC, if condition remains same. I think, PCT (Azhar) needs to rethink bowling tactics here. The length all 3 pacers bowled or bowling were perfect for 250 sort of condition, which was the case in CT, but here that length (& pace), is sitting perfectly for hitting through the line.

May be it's too late but, PAK still should look for a genuine SLAO spinner, and couple of express pacers (Including Wahab). Hasan, JK, Faheem & Shaheen are becoming predictable and apart from Shaheen other 3 can't get away bowling short staff either.

Well you are not going to win with Imad as your spinner and no genuine pace bowlers, been saying this for a while. Imad bowls in your zone to hit, all other bowlers are too slow and will give batsmen time to hit a shot of their choice if theres no swing or seam.
