Agreed, but still you could have checked the CricInfo score card. He bowled 10 overs with the new ball at one go & made ENG 60/7 after 20 overs or something like that. I guess actual figure was 10-1-36-7.

Pitch was indeed more conducive & it was a bit could covered as well - but, if I threaten death sentence, still these tools won't be able to bowl with a 7-2 field & yet concede in total 7 or 8 runs on leg side (a mid on & a long-leg on leg side & nothing else - then 10 overs at one go, still 3/4 scoring shots in 10 overs through leg side with 2 fielders covering half the field)

That's like saying an umpire shouldn't call a no ball if the bowler balls a brilliant delivery but his foot is way past the line.

What does the bowler bowling well have to do with anything? Rules and rules and the umpire has been very lenient with him.
