Pindi pitch doesn't really break at all like we see in India or Bangladesh
 
England apart from Joe Root play over attacking cricket, so Pakistans best bet is to keep it tight and force the batsmen into some crazy shots. That’s going to be their downfall but man they are making test cricket fun.
 
79 runs in 11.2 overs. Garbage bowling, garbage pitch, garbage selection & garbage management.

Ramiz, Saqlain & Babar deserve all the criticism that is going to come their way.
 
The batsmen have so much time when the bowler is bowling at 150 KPH. If I was a bowler in this Pakistani team, I would just hang up my boots in protest. Absolutely pathetic pitch.

And for what? We did this against Australia and lost a home series. If it didn’t work then, why would it work against England? Absolutely criminal that this stupidity is allowed.
 
Ramiz clown raja should be sacked by Shehbaz Sharif. The only good thing he can do after becoming the prime minister.

England players must be thinking they should tour Pakistan more often to boost their stats.
 
Pakistan has only one legitimate bowler here in Naseem Shah.

Rauf is a debutant and the rest have no chance on this pitch.
 
Forget about ODI, England are literally playing a Babar/Rizwan kind of T20 inning right here.

Such a pathetic pitch ,was looking for great contest between eventually match team but PCB disappointing me as a test lover .
 
No off spinner in the side? Ashwin took ducket out 3 out of 3 times on go flat tracks for 13, 5, 0.
 
I thought fans hated ODI because overs between 10 and 40 were boring lol Now they are racing away.
 
Look at the Pindi pitches during QeA season just from a few weeks ago. It was a grassy pitch that was competitive with bat & ball... and then somehow Pakistan have prepared this. Disgraceful.
 
Is the speed gun broken or something.ali bowled at 148 kph but seeing him he seems to be bowling in 120s at max.

Watch Pakistan’s openers struggle to survive and Babar Azam doing exactly that - a 100 ball 50 only to get out and get the praise of his lifetime.

I thought this Ali was a seasoned domestic veteran.30 yr old and barely played a total of 35 games of fc + list A + T20
 
I'm sure even Bangladesh or Zimbabwe wouldn't be annihilated at home in this manner as Pakistan have.

3 debut bowlers, one close to 30 and other 2 over 30. The non debutant leader of the pack is 19 years. What can you do?

Zahid is a parchi selection and has to have some connections going somewhere. Agha has a better chance of getting a wicket here.
 
England came here with sole intention of winning the series unlike Pak which only aims for draw & survival. I am afraid this match will end up with result like Lahore test against Australia as England will certainly push for victory in any case. Some of Babar's selection are highly questionable, you are playing test match against one of the best test team without your best available eleven

So clearly this was done on someone’s orders. Sack them all.
 
Thats what happens when your bowlers get distracted and have short careers. We were all praising Hassan for coming back with a bang and he perishes leaving a hole. We were making Nauman and Sajid look world beaters and they perish too leaving a hole.

Every 3rd 4th series Pakistan have a new look bowling attack. Its a worry.
 
If this Ali recognised as a fast bowler than our future is bleak.
 
I swear I thought Pindi pitch was known to assist the quicks. Were the curators like ‘screw that, here’s a road just like in the Aus series!’?
 
As expected another road with nothing to offer for bowlers, PCB why are you so thick and don't learn your lesson :facepalm
 
No point blaming the pitch till both sides bat on it. English bowlers will show more discipline and will atleast bowl to their fields vis a vis Pakistani bowlers.
 
We will never see a India Pakistan finals in the WTC..India may continue to qualify for the Finals by running over teams at home and getting an odd win here and there away but Pakistan won't even able to win at home with this approach. A team must have a dominating record at home to qualify for the WTC Finals.
 
On a positive note for India, this road may end Anderson’s career if he bowls to the ground. He has been our biggest nemesis in tests apart from Steve Smith.

Watch imam and Azhar bat like snails later in match on same pitch.

Haris, Shaheen, Naseem, Hasnain are the most skilled and fastest bowlers in the country, you can throw in Waseem Jr in terms of speed.

Everyone else is a trundler. If these guys don’t work, then we are screwed pace wise. Harsh truth.

Maybe the idea was to draw the series 0-0 and claim he did better than billion dollar Indian cricket industry because we lost 3-2 in England.
 
Since we reached in T20 final, Both Saqlain, Babar, M Wasim and team management will be there another 3-4 years.

It's Ramiz only....he's the one who has been talking about pitches right from his first day at office.

But the pitches in his tenure have only gotten worse with time.

Why would Babar/Saqlain ask for these dead flat pitches after whitewashing SA on much better sporting tracks in 2021.

Time will prove me right that Babar is just not good enough to captain any team. He just stands there with no game plan, game sense, reading of the situation, zero proactiveness.

We as a nation also have a horrible criteria for appointing a captain ie must be the best player in the team, and keeps the team united, happy regardless of results. No one cares about captaincy record, history of repeated captaincy mistakes, blunders and whether any progress has been made.

The reason why Pakistan Cricket underachieves is because we don't have a captain who can proactively make the right bowling, fielding changes, selection decisions and can plan efficiently, effectively with respect to the opposition and pitch conditions.
