He’s always been a bits and pieces player.

Makes the team as neither a bowler nor a batsman.

Better to pick a guy from gully mohalla cricket who bats and bowls.

In Test Cricket you have one place no. 6-7 where you can play a batsman who can bowl or bowler who can bat. Rest of the places should belong to specialists.

That’s my point, he’s neither.

Look at stokes. He’s good enough to bat and can bowl a few. What is this guy good for? Toothless bowling and toothless batting. Offers nothing.

He never was that good especially against spin. The issue here is he was picked in the te to bowl and bat a bit, but Babar did not trust him to bowl, yet he is quite an ecnomical bowler even if not a wicket taker. Could had easily given spinners some respite .
 
There is always a small chance that the spinners will trigger a mighty England collapse, but this just doesnt look like enough runs at the moment. The pitch is not a square turner or a grubber, it is not even too bad.
 
The pitch is so flat i think even nauman ..wassim abrars batting can get you 200...

@ James not with just 2 bowlers to ball the overs,need some variety in attack to make batsmen play differently and keep adjusting.
 
Not sure why the commentators were fobbing off that appeal lol, looked blatantly out. Good review from England.
 
Joe Wilson has been the worst umpire in the series but no one criticisng him as they did to Aleem.

To be honest, I did not see any difference between Nouman, Agha, Wasim and Abra batting. I don't understand what makes us to believe that Agha is a batting allrounder. Who on earth would play this guy for 3 straight tests?
 
What a disgrace and handing out charity/farewell tests doesn't help either.
 
Our batting is utterly beyond hope. They never find it comfortable ever. 160 odd target is a complete disgrace.

Target 167. Some folks had predicted that Rehan will get a fiver, well done to them and the bowler. Not a challenging target at all.

They have made every type of spinner look great recently

Some of us predicted that rehan would go through the pak batting line up regardless of his age because that's what pak do
 
England will chase this before the close of play.
 
Will say it again - Babar is taking Pakistan to level of Karachi Kings. His horror PSL campaign should've been a redflag.

Like I said earlier in this thread, the only Pakistsn team that looked weaker, meeker and more submissive than this one was 20 years ago when Waqar was losing Test matches in 2 days.

Getting whitewashed at home is absolutely disgraceful
 
If ever a captain and management deserve to be whitewashed this lot do.
Pathetic selections, no courage batting or bowling, and no shame wither.
 
Root last inning in Pakistan this series and he will score significantly to win the match easily.
 
This is going to be a tough chase. 166 on a turning pitch is much harder than it looks on paper
 
Looking at england batting, i wonder our batters had sticks in their hand instead of bats
