Amir was off the field as well. We don't know what's wrong with him as of now.
 
England must attack Yasir, what I feel is they get to defensive when Yasir bowls.
If they don't attack its game over for them. Pak will win it easily.

5 years of 'Fast kelas" more won't work either yaar. The game is built to learn on match condition, not in Gym. You bowlers has to play 100 overs/day FC cricket, at least 90, so that their body is prepared.

OR joke administrators can change the rule - bowlers won't need to spend equal time of field after going out before they can bowl. Anything cheap, I expect from ICC.
 
I have said it again and I will continue to say it till the tour ends. It wont be Amir our strike bowler but YASIR!!!!!!! However my only problem with Misbah (very surprisingly) is that hes a little too defensive! Sometimes it pays off in the UAE but can be frustrating here in England. My ticket for tomorrow and Sunday are looking even more better!

I meant Amir did not play in competitive club cricket for 5 years. PLaying with friends and doing gym does not improve a bowler's skill

They've tried and lost wickets. So no point.

Simply put, they can't play quality spin.

Nothing - he clocked 87mph, which means there is no external injury, neither any soft tissue pull. He is just struggling for breather - the best clue of when a fast bowler is struggling for stamina is his run-up & shoulders at follow through. He is just bowling with his shoulders, hardly much from run-up.
 
Looks like 2 Bradman are batting. This guy Woakes looks better batsman than Cook and Root and playing Amir and Yasir with ease.
 
One area where Amir is so far behind Wasim is reverse swing and yorkers... He does not bowl them enough, needs to develop that variety to clean the tail...
 
With both Woakes and Stokes England have two excellent alrounders

Nothing wrong in his skills to be honest - did induce couple of perfect edges. If PAK leaves field today, tomorrow morning ENG might struggle to add 15 with this total. But, PAK can't expect 70 overs Test day. By the grace of Allah, if ICC makes 4 Days Test (that's 105 overs/day) - ICC 'll need a permanent medical bench at ground for PAK Test matches.
 
Woakes has been magnificent in this test match.

Up there with the best all rounders atm in test cricket.
 
Most likely our bowlers are trying to extend this match to next day at least an hour so our tailender openers can cash in some runs
 
Absolute wastage of 1st ball - why does he play Test with such shallow concentration?
 
Wahab Riaz to Broad will be interesting.....Pak should have done their homework and brought Riaz in earlier to exploits Broad's mental state after getting Aron'ed :akhtar

Fairly sure it's not it hitting half the stump but the line now instead being taken from the outside of the stump which meant that still would be been umpires call.

The Moen dismissal didn't look like it was hitting 50 percent of the stumps

Considering England's lullooness against Yasir, and they have to bat in 4th innings, Pakistan ahead quite a bit.

Barring a collapse 2nd innings.

Which proves the point that they're still fragile against quality spin.
 
Basically Pakistan is playing with two bowlers, Yasir and Amir. The other two were so useless.
