Should have got to 350! to many batsmen got starts and didnt go on! our bowlers need to do some serious damage with the ball now.

Pakistan shouldn't drop any catches to put pressure on England here.
 
I think Pakistan are 40-50 runs short of what would be a good total but enough to trouble the English.

Now its time for the Amir war
 
In between score - PAK would love to take 339 from 134/4; ENG would love to take 339 from 282/4.

It's all down to PAK's bowling & catching now - I think the wicket has enough to make an advantage out of 339.
 
Not a great total, but Pakistan are still in it.

Need to get early wickets and hope the lower order doesn't fire.
 
low score ideally should have been closer to 400. Sarfaraz was playing well but went cheaply

If Pakistan make use of the condition, England may be 50-3 and look for finishing them up by 250.

England have a TOUGH TOUGH TOUGH hour coming up.

If they blunt Pakistan and sun comes out, they may possible score 450 and put immense pressure on Pakistan.

Pakistan have done well here. I dont really think Cook and co wold want to be batting an hour before lunch

The daft thing is Hafeez, Shan, Azhar, Younis, Shafiq and Sarfraz all got out tamely. Even an extra 15-20 from all of them would've made a big difference.

But its an OK batting performance given we haven't been in England for 6 years or outside Asia in 3 years.

I am a human being, I can be wrong almost every time, but I try to make realistic claims after assessing. 339 is a decent total, and looking at the England batting line up, I don't see them scoring more than 300 against our bowling line up.
 
Step into Englands batsmens shoes. Vince, Hales, Ballance, Moeen will all be under pressure about their place in the team
 
I think, it's a very good time to get all-out. PAK can use Aamir for 5 overs & then again 6 overs after lunch. While Rahat & Wahab for 3 short spells each. That'll help Misbah to use almost 35 overs with the pace bowlers before calling Yasir.
 
Also it is good for Pakistan that England have to bat for 45 minutes before the lunch break in stead of starting when the session starts.
 
There are some people in this forum always ready for criticism and making smart remark which are very annoying.Nobody forcing them to watch Pakistan match if they do not like. Constructive criticism is good though.
 
If you play off Amir, runs will come off others.

Unless Rahat has his magical day.

If he has that and Amir does well, England are dead.

Or else, they will do just fine if they blunt Amir.

How do you think Yasir will do in this innings. Im sure he will trouble them in the 4th innings.

Pakistan bowling England around 300 is a more realistic claim than Pakistan scoring 400.

Today's claim is realistic.

Yesterday's claim was just hope.

Technically what was done to him was a trap that he fell for. That's probably what people think when they make those revenge statements. It's a bit silly but it is what it is.
 
A team making 300 in the first innings has only lost three of the last 67 Tests at Lord's.

At Lord's it's a bit difficult for Leggi for the slope, unless he can adjust to his length. I think, he should look to bowl tight on 1st innings. It's not 450 that PAK can buy wicket.
 
Overhead conditions means Pak must make the new ball count.

Rahat especially can not waste the new ball.

Lol, Rahat has some potential, it's just a matter of time before he takes off, this is the series where he will take off, just wait and watch, I agree regarding Wahab, but his pace may cause them trouble, and Yasir will click regardless of the conditions, he is a leg spinner.
 
May be just 3 balls, but my impression is, he is bowling short for England.
