a 32 ball duck.

this is borderline ridiculous.

Imagine if he got 1 run. HE'd probably have the lowest non zero strike rate.'

I find it annoying when Amin keeps his bat still for 2 seconds after connecting

Broad now has 8-6-9-2. maybe this series will give him a chance to improve his sub-allrounder bowling average :D

Anderson could be bending the rules by having a wrist strap that might be aiding his bowling.

Azhar Ali 0 off 32 balls.
Have the older viewers on here seen a much more painful innings than that by a pak batsmen??

Our comeback begins now

This 33-4 could become 150-4 or even 200-4 inshallah!

People need to stop being so negative!

u.akmal is the only one who seems to have the right batting strategy for the pitch it seems.

Needs to stay in there for Pakistan to have any chance.

As I understand the laws there's nothing wrong with it. You need permission for bandages or gloves on your fingers/hands because they're in contact with the ball but wrists/forearms/elbows/knees/toenails etc is fine.

Pakistan's all team except Aamer Asif & Gul are unfit for TEST cricket

Nasser questioning jimmys strapping.

Chamcha Raja trying to defuse the remarks "bowlers would like to be loose, wrist strap wouldn't help". He obviously knows little about the cocked wrist for a bowler.

but at this scoring rate you will take until the evening session to bring up your team hundred...

Not being negative bro just being REALISTIC...and REALISTICALLY I don't expect 'young' Umar Akmal along with a guy who barely has any runs under his belt to take us to 150

I really DO hope im wrong...really

Finn looks our most talented bowler to appear since Harmison. could we have finally found a strike bowler to average low-mid twenties?

Strauss off to put his feet up, light up a cigar and enjoy the proceedings

umar amin loooks pretty good. technically he is almost perfect its just he is been given too much advice from everybody. i agree with ramiz there.. let these guys play ..

Amins lack of footwork will see his downfall pretty soon!

Is it a mental problem? Are we just not good enough? Is the pitch really bad?

To be fair, England have bowled extremely well.

Azhar, Malik and Farhat need to go.
farhat should have scored more runs, but you expect an opener to see out the new ball.

Don't know what the hell azhar was thinking, with a 32 ball duck. the middle order is supposed to accumulate runs!

My opinion of azhar's dipped dramatically :(

Thats why T20 is best. By now our innings would have ended with a score of more than 150. :afridi

Strauss and company already planning a pool party for the 4th and 5th day

It isn't very wise of you to judge him as a bowler against the mighty batting line-ups of Pakistan and Bangladesh mate. However he seems to have all the right ingredients to become a successful bowler.

Why Azhar? Knee-jerk reaction of today's performance?

Not a knee jerk reaction, the guy simply doesn't have it in him to succeed at this level and Holding agrees with me. Azhar has scored more runs then Amin, but Amin has a better chance of succeeding at this level than Azhar. Malik and Farhat are proven failures. Just one of two knocks after 30 matches isn't good enough.
