The problem is, thuk thuk inevitably results in results that you don't like.

If the ball is swinging all over the place it's easier to play the ball extremely late and under your eyes than actively go after it. We'll lose wickets much more quickly when our batsmen try to drive and/or prod outside offstump trying to get bat on ball.

haha right in the middle of typing that Malik goes playing at one miles outside offstump. In these conditions, with our technically poor batsmen, thuk-thuk needs to be the order of the day.
