Shehzad's attacking game, albeit rare, is quite pleasing to watch.

Very ungainly while defending though.

His drives against good bowlers are often ugly. Look at how he got out against Australia in the world cup to Hazlewood (or was it Starc). Thats one of the ugliest drives youll ever see.

He is going to play 2019 WC, if not 2020 & he'll tour Australia, as opener.

He should be first change, because he can make things happen when there's no swing.

He has been the most lethal flat track bowler for a while now.

Anderson and Woakes should open, with Broad and Finn to follow.
 
Finn bowled a whole over of pure filth. Should have gone for atleast a couple of boundaries

Bothams comments on the incident were hilarious and good to see he is bias as ever.

his words couldn't even come out of his mouth this is how quietly he started speaking when the cameraman showed the pictures and then just played it off as 'oh we all have done it to the umpire once in a while'.

Had this been a sub content player who had treated the umpire like jimmy did Botham would be the first person to start a witch hunt against the player.

funny how he had nothing to say when Anderson kept coming on the danger zone as well yet as soon as Pakistani Bowlers did it Botham was attacking them like this was cheating off the highest order and pakistani bowlers should constantly be getting warnings.

Wasn't that clearly obvious on the first day.

Lack of batting discipline got pakistan wickets, just like how Hafeez gifted his wicket. Players that stopped them selves from playing offside balls and played with a straight bat got in and got runs yesterday like Ballance and Mooen.
 
Running on the danger zone and the English are crying. Well done for Holding to point it out.. Botham was speechless....
 
Finn is talented but he doesn't have the discipline and mental strength to have a career like Anderson or Broad.

The way Broad bounced back from the humiliation at the hands of Yuvraj to become one of the most successful modern day pacer says a lot about his fortitude.

If Azhar truly is a capable number 3, he would punish Finn after seeing him just bowled unsettled, and keep him unsettled

I am impressed with Sami so far. He has a technique you can build upon unlike the garbage openers we have seen in last 6 years.

I would invest in him then the rest, he is also very young. Pakistan has policy of filler players like Hafeez, Shezad who are not natural openers in opening slot.

England had Cook for decade that has helped them a lot. Sami is Cook style of player, plays late, leave a lot, more assured against new ball. Where as Hafeez, Dhan never look good against pace, too ichi and pushing in front rather than waiting for ball to come at them. Opening requires very different technique.

Well I remember in 2006 he was very much pro Pakistan when the ball tampering issue took place. I remember him really hating the umpires,,,maybe because the one in question was Australian?

Finn with his customary "fall on the pitch so it looks like I'm having trouble with my footing which will hopefully excuse me bowling filth" delivery.
 
Finn is bowling Garbage here, apart from a couple of deliveries.

Maybe or maybe he has just become grumpy over the years.
 
Pakistan have averaged 3.8/over in the first 100 overs of test cricket for the past 3 years.

That is the third lowest with only Zimbabwe and South Africa averaging lower.
 
Twice now i think I saw Azhar kicking his back foot in the air while leaving the ball. Has he been getting tips from Younis?
 
Sami is playing the short ball really well here. I think he should back himself to pull or cut
 
I know Rambo's the glamorous choice but I SINCERELY hope that for our next tours, Bazid Khan is called up to represent us in the com-box.

Listening to Ramiz making stuff up on our players is getting tiresome.
