Azhar is the set batsmen he should accelerat e but he wouldn't want to take risks before his century,sarfi is not good enough to be the aggresor in loi and babar was struggling to time the ball he actually tried to score rubbish innings nonethless,talking about all innings .
 
Pakistan seriously deserve the number 9 position, no doubt about that now. Very Timid batting line up
 
The lack of power hitters in the Pak team is a glaring deficiency.

remedies:
1. Change diet, bulk up, gym training
2. Change bats, the ones they are using, the ball doesnt ping of them. They sound like a slab of wood.
 
Azhar can't take risks now with 4 down already. I think Pak need 300+ to give themselves a chance. But how will they get there. 1st step, don't lose 5th wicket for next 8-10 overs. And keep scoring at least 5 an over.
 
Rizwan really needs to learn how to read the spinners from the hand, he will never achieve his potential if he doesn't.
 
If you cannot even play Moeen and Mediocre Rashid, you should not be playing cricket.

Don't know what indians eat but they are all 7 foot hulk especially rohit and rahul who hit six at will.

5th down. Can't hit if you are already out. Poor batting. Lack of strike rotation leading to pressure and creating wickets. Kya hai ye batting.
 
Really pathetic batting . Pakistan would probably struggle against Afghan bowling also.
 
Azhar seems to be playing for his ODI future....have the rest of them decided to give up on him?

Keep dreaming!!!! Inzi will not do that much changes. Azhar will be captain until 2019
 
You have to play leg spinners to be able to read them that's why minniws struggle so much against legspin

Sooner he learns 250 isn't a good enough target on these pitches, against these modern teams the better he'll be.

Azhar is the least of our problems. Our domestic cricket isn't producing the same hitters needed in the modern game.
 
Major milestone coming up. We should be able to surpass Hales' score from the last odi, in the next 5 overs

He is one of the reason why wickets are failling and doesn't care if 250 is not enough 100 is more than enough.

At this stage England were 300 and attacking like no tomorrow. Azhar and Pakistan are batting like it's the 90s and tomorrow is just another day :facepalm:
 
Same old story, nothing new.

We don't have good enough players who can play with authority in the middle overs and kept on loosing wickets at wrong time.

Would be lucky if we can get to 260 here.
 
Aamir looked much better in last game than so called regular batsman and all rounders in this game
 
Thought it's easy to score runs these days due to pitch being flat, two new balls, big bat, etc.

What's is happening here? Pak batsmen struggling at 4.47 run rate. Where is Junaids?
 
Poor innings. As was his in the first match. As inadequate as sarfaraz's as well
These scores are helping nothing and they don't deserve applause
 
I didn't wanted Malik to be replaced by anyone...he would've probably came back with a good performance after being ashamed of his previous performances...this was the first time I wanted to see the losing XI play the next match though I really wanted to see some changes in the bowling lineup, however, the way they've been made forces me to regret this decision and go straight away with the loosing XI.

And if Malik still had not performed then this should've meant the last ODI series for him.
 
Overall good innings by Azhar. He made about half of Pakistan runs at the moment
