Well aussies were always known such fighting spirit.
Our cunning plan is to protect our new gun batsman with a bunch of hacks coming in first
I thought ken was injured why wasn't he called on to bowl earlier. Weird stuff.

Question is, Agar was always an okay batsman, so why was he at number 11 in the first place?
Plastic can only endure a certain temperature you see![]()
All the other bowlers have made Test runs lately.
Looks like Cook has completely lost it. Asks Barbie to bowl the last over before lunch.)
So this pair has batted like 21 overs! England take the extra half hour but still can't get a wicket. This Ashes is going to be much closer than what everyone here predicted.
Wonder what Beefy and Vaughan are saying in the Sky studio now.
Yes, but Lehmann has sneaked in The New Sobers in at #11 !
Has ball "maintenance" gone out of fashion with the Poms or they missing Boparas dry hands?
Agarbatti is my new hero![]()
Agar main kahoon iss baar tum Ashes nahi jitoge toh Poms kya kahenge?
Australia will make around 300 with hundreds by the youngsters, Smith and Hughes.
Great fight back but Australia still with a lot of work to do. England will bat again in very favorable conditions.
Jonathan Agnew said:"You've conned us you Australians haven't you?! You've said 'we're going to pretend this is a left-arm spinner who bats number 11' when in fact he's the next Gary Sobers and he's going to bat at number three for the rest of his career."

michael holding thinks the reason is that he is just 19 years of age, Else he is nothing like a number 11.

Surely that's not good enough. He's got a good FC record. Now, let's assume Hughes had got out, and he'd been playing with the tail.
well he averages 33.6 in FC cricket which means he is no mug with the bat!
Terrific from AUS.
I do not think England are doing that, i.e sticking to plan. They need to bowl six out of six deliveries on good length in the corridor of uncertainity. They are all over the place. Bresnan or Onions would have wrapped this up much sooner.England really don't think out of the box, they just seem to follow the textbook all the time, the reason why they aren't that good to watch.
England got 5 wickets in no time, can't get the last one
