What I love about cricket is that it cannot be fully comprehended; nobody knows who the favourites are here. England technically only need 1 ball to do something, but 20 runs isn't many to get either.

Keeping all emotions aside, England has to be favorites till Aussies are one shot away from victory. It just takes one good ball or mistake.

lol if Haddin pulls this off i might forget the incident that cost his team in the 49 all out game

If haddin pulls this off I'll nominate him for Australian of the Year.

Also all time great wicket keeper for Australia

England doing their absolute best to thief Haddin out

hot spot is not showing alot of conclusive evidence..... :out umpire decided he has a clear hot spot... england wins it.

I'm surprised the appeal wasn't more convincing. That was clearly out.

Like I said. A really strange one. The edge was rather audible and it could only have been bat. Surprised England didn't go up more convincingly.

Could Have been the tension of the game.

good work england and great work aussies... played very well and to win... great ashes match and loved every second of it... hope the rest are as close as this one.

There was not enough evidence to overrule the on field call.

Good effort from the OZ. If they had scored another 15 runs in the top order it might have been different.

England did not gooo up, because of pressure sooo much pressure that their could not believe it was an edge..

Oh my god. I went back to bed at lunch too nervous to keep going and then woke to this. Oh my god. Oh wow. I dont even know.

That spot was there, before the ball reached the bat!

I heard a noise when the ball went past the bat though. A faint noise but it was there. Less obvious than Cheater's but it was there.

From the sideways view you couldn't tell by hotspot if the mark on the bat was by the ball or his pad.

Aussies robbed by DRS.

Well played. No matter what i will keep supporting the Aussies in the Ashes.

There was definitely an edge but not enough evidence to overturn the on field call. It was guesswork from the 3rd umpire.

Yes, but is that enough to over-turn an original decision of not-out?

Pretty obviously a nick.

Hotspot was from the pad though
