You can't keep Prior quite here. Very fine player.

Prior with another gem of an ongoing innings. Whadaplaya!

There can never be a declaration here and Strauss wouldn't dare anyway, which for once is a good thing. Too much time left. Every run counts this time.

Basically India should not bowl England out than?

Might be a bit far'fetched. But I'm thinking atleast 400. Anything less would be risky.

...and :four

So can England score 400 runs today? I am not talking about total runs but only runs scored today.

I remember during the ashes 2005 when they did it, KP was in tremendous form that day.

They need 43 of 10 overs. Quite possible.

If you are strauss, then i got an idea to draw this game :amir

Both Sree and Ishant approaching their "centuries"!

The plan is probably, declare after the first hour tommorow with 400-420?

Anyone see the Sreesanth attempted beamer to Prior. Didn't manage to get it full enough ;-)

Joking there but seriously...2-100, gone for a bumload of boundaries and had no positive impact on the innings - showing his true colours

What a ruthless shot. England once again find themselves in a commanding position in a test match. Getting a bit boring this ;-)

Ishant Sharma.........

How many balls will he bowl short and wide outside off?

What a major waste of talent!!!!!!!

Best one I've seen and one of the best ever. Some rate the 2005 team and a few of the older teams higher.

The 2005 team didn't last long enough. They had a good year, and then got thrashed by Pakistan. And lets not even mention what happened to that team down under.

Huh, England's no 9 and 10 have better averages than most of our top-order batters

I do not think India is in form to score more than 350 even if all there top batsman fire...

Whippy is this the best english team or was there one better than this one?

they are facing some typical Indian bowling :).
But current English batting lineup is their best i had seen, swanny coming at 8 down tells the whole story

Brilliant batting by England, rubbish bowling by India. The way England are playing 4-0 isn't a far-fetched idea is it?

Remember many (granted, not all) of the failures that team had post-2005 Ashes were without the vital Marcus Trescothick, Michael Vaughan and Simon Jones. Not an excuse for losing, just trying to put into perspective why the team's fortunes took a downturn.

The full side had a home summer where they won seven out of seven tests (I think), and then they won away in West Indies 3-0, won away in South Africa 2-1, drew in India 1-1 and beat the great Aussies 2-1, all things that England cricket sides just don't do.

As good as Flower's England are, they lost in West Indies and India and drew in South Africa, although if they could repeat these tours in their current state they'd have a much better chance.

2005 was a fantastic team but reached its peak then fell apart due to bad form, injuries and egos.

This is the best team I've seen because it's so relentless and solid. The win rates tell their own story.

I would be surprised if india win a test match but anything can happen. Pakistan won third match last summer after being completely thrashed by the english in first 2 but got thrashing in the last as well

I thought we had that one in the bag when Amir was on fire :(

:)))

Bhajii throws the ball the boundary.

And guess who had to go and fetch it. Sreesanth! :)))

The "No.1 test side" has been hammered for 400 runs in a single day in the 2nd innings.
