d/l par is 56, but not in effect yet.
The target now is 241 in 34 overs.
What kind of rubbish calculation is this! Thats just absolutely pathetic!
This D/L is proving out to be VERY VERY harsh and unfair!
59/1, what is the reqrr?
In theory I don't understand this calculation at all.
India managed 304-6.
England have in total had 16 overs docked with only 63 runs knocked off the total! Does not make any sense at all.
England par score at 20 overs is 118 and they are currently 65-1 in 11
They didn't lose any wicket in those 16 overs either. Just 6 rpo for 5 overs and runs needed will be reduced to 155+ in 20 overs with 8-9 wickets in hand.
They should figure out a better way to revise these calculations.
I don't find this D/L fair and accurate at all. It should be fair for the batting team and bowling team.
This revised target works in favour to India more than it does England.
Maybe it's in favor of India. But my expectations have gone down with this change. England would find it easier to score 150-160 runs in 20 overs than 300 in 50 overs on most days.
