I've noticed an interesting pattern in his bowling, and I’d like to share it.
He’s usually most threatening in his first spell — that’s when he has the best chance of taking a wicket.
But if he doesn’t get a breakthrough early on, he tends to struggle in his second and third spells.
However, if he does manage to pick up a wicket in those later spells, it often opens the floodgates — he suddenly gets into a rhythm and starts taking wickets in quick succession.
That’s just my observation, but it seems to happen quite often.
