Good lesson for Pakistan for underestimating and being overconfident against Sri Lanka

The perfect kick that both Mickey Arthur and Sarfaraz needed as they start to rebuild the test side. They both pretty much expected that they just needed to turn up against Sri Lanka and the series would be won comfortably. Serious question marks will be asked on the batting order, bowling unit and why the team management decided not to play the 2nd spinner?

Were the likes of Asghar and Bilal Asif not good enough? Bilal Asif can bat as well which makes his non-selection more baffling, Azhar Ali should have opened the innings and that is how Bilal Asif could have been accomodated in the team.

I don't think it is about underestimating or overconfidence, Lanka is simply the better team, and when mathews is back, lanka will be even more significantly better team than Pakistan. Pakistan should host Bangladesh to see where they stand in terms of test cricket in asia
