This could be the first series since 1981-82 that no Pakistani has scored a century. Atleast that's what I remember from the top of my head.

Let's see if anyone can score one here.

Openers had to just survive the first 10-15 over here

This is an easier place to score a ton for most Asian Batsmen. Hopefully, someone gets a big one.

Pakistan bowling attack:

Hasan Ali: 23 Tests
Sajid: 7 Tests
Hamza: 4 Tests
Jamal: 2 Tests

Australia bowling attack:

Lyon: 124 Tests (!!!)
Starc: 84 Tests
Hazelwood: 64 Tests
Cummins: 57 Tests

What an experienced and elite bowling attack. Pakistan meanwhile.... umm, goodluck.

Another boundary for babar, looks in good touch now
Bounce already going out of the pitch, perfect opportunity now to put a horrid 2023 in test cricket behind him and start off the year in style

Cummins keeps bowling these magic balls out of nowhere.
Babar keeps getting these magic balls out of nowhere.

That looked like it was clipping leg at best on real time…

How was the ball hitting completely on leg stump??

Longetivity requires fitness, consistent match winning performances. Unfortunately Pakistan since the W's have not produced those quality of pacers hence why we keep playing inexperienced bowlers everytime we tour Australia.

bat 1st on this deck & 38/3 in 1st hour , poor batting . I guess we are looking at 1st innings lead of 200 end o day 3 !

Babar has been slightly unlucky this series. He's received a lot of unplayable deliveries.

Australia wouldn't win half their tests if they didn't have Cummins. Starc and Hazlewood are cannon fodder these days without the new ball. But Cummins is just incredible.

Only reason why Aus invited Pak was for Shaheen & Baba one chickened out of the match the other turned out to be a poor man’s umar akmal..

Aus won’t be inviting Pak for the nxt 40 years

This is Babar Azam's levels against elite attacks. Tbh even Inzamam, Yousaf, Younis were poor in Australia.

ball was clipping the leg stump so it must have stayed with umpire's call

it never looked out to me tbh

Genuinely shocked

Didn’t expect Babar to get out after he looked in his fluent best

Babar is always unlucky and all that blah.

Don't buy this for one moment.

Good batsmen make their own luck.

And if he is really an ATG, he should be finding ways to score runs despite good balls.

Umpire’s call was not out

Maybe he thought Babar inside edged it…Cummins thought it was going down leg too…he was reluctant to take the review

On the ball tracker, I felt the trajectory of the ball changed a tiny bit. It was supposed to swing more but it just showed that it would have carried with the angle when it actually was swinging in after it hit the pads. It was surprising to see it was hitting the stumps when it looked like an Umpires Call at best.

Interesting to see long off for Lyon to Masood,
that's what a bit of aggression can do, gets the fielders on the defensive right away despite aus being in a commanding possition.

Here comes another short miniature batsman in Saud to face the Aussie fast bowlers.

None of the batters create any fear in the opposition

So the ball swung in but straightened…was definitely missing leg if it held its line.

On the initial impact ball was clearly moving down the leg side as it swung sharply

raising doubts about the DRS

I’ve honestly watched maybe 2-300k overs of bowling in my life.

I’m pretty good at calling LBW decisions on real time, my initial thought on first glance on the Babar call was it definitely looked like missing or clipping leg.

Either my eyes are going, or something just isn’t right

It is not a secret that broadcasters can manipulate the DRS.

Pink ball tests are crazy. Some times in one session you can see 5 or 6 wickets going down.
I don’t believe the ball is being played with the pink ball. I think it is being called a Pink Test because it’s one of the Tests where Australia make everything around the ground pink for breast cancer awareness.

It's a regular ball and not a pink ball.

If Pakistan invest in Mehran Mumtaz now,

They could have a Nathan Lyon like bowler with 500 wickets at an average of 30 by the end of his career

I believe that.

Saud always looked shaky after the bumper. He is gone now.He is an iyer ,can't bat outside Sc

Ok time for bed...will probably wake up tomorrow with the Aussies having taken a big lead...same old story

Sir Garfield Sobers and Viv Richards ki Rooh on the pitch now

Counter attack is the only option. Don't think Pakistan can defend their way out as Australia has too many tools that Pakistan batsmen don't like

Cummins is just incredible.

He’s well behind McGrath but if he continues like this then surely he’ll pass Lillee?

Pakistan’s second world class batsman at the crease
