Rizwan 1 run is equivalent to 4 average Pakistani runs

Pakistan is killing the game in the first session.

You know you've seen it all in Pakistan cricket when Shan Masood is the biggest wicket for the opposition.
You weren’t chirping like this when Rizwan was being billed as the second coming of Tendulkar

ATG who can't seem to buy a run against good sides.

Don't worry, NZ second string T20 side is coming to boost his stats.
He made 196 against the same attack.
He copped some good ones this series.

Babar Fan girl's are the most annoying ones.A fan girl sitting next to me reckons he may scored a century if this is an odi

When you actually have no ability to deal with 5th/6th stump lines…

Jump up and down as if you are leaving the ball.

Looks like again Misbah called and spoke with a team with new Tuktuk Tactics! The result is in front of u

Why are you so angry with him always bro. Something personal ?
Because I feel that the great team that I grew up to love was hijacked by Rizwan false agenda

Nothing personal with the guy. Just the cricketer and what he represents politically

Yeah and insult the great game of cricket

No wonder South Africa have given up
Why are you always negative on him? It's not like Pakistan is filled with great batsmen.

He does drama of cramp and he even admitted it, but what else?

That's how you deal with the 5th stump line:

Rizwan is one of the few cricketers who plays only for himself and is a selfish batsmen.

And then he pretends he plays for the team.

I dislike what he brings to the table.

Rizwan has freakish leg side game. Never misses and rarely mishits in leg side.

It seems to be personal because nothing justifies your endless hate posts against him.
And most of the time he performs better than the others.

It’s cricket personal yes

I hate his cricketing guts

Starc is pretty much done. Good sides will line him up. Was never a great in this format but his accuracy is gone when he tries to bowl fast.

Personally I think that’s hitting outside the line

One needs to make the start count in Australia - Babar got out after playing 40+ balls, which was the killer blow. 2 down for 80 at first lunch isn’t a bad start, probably up to 3 is manageable but 4 down….

This is the problem with Pakistani selectors, it should not have taken them an eternity to understand that the likes of Harris Sohail and Saud Shakeel are mis fits in Australian, South African conditions.

You need proper cutters, pullers and hookers in this part of the world. Ijaz Ahmed was not a legendary Pakistani batsman overall but he was Pakistans best batsman in Australia because of his strength in playing the cut and pull shots.

These conditions require horses for courses and conditions based selection.

That’s how you play a cricket shot

Not a cowboy shot

Bit unfair to compare Sarfraz's scores to Rizwan who played in Perth where everyone struggled after day 2.
MCG was a belter after first few overs.
But no doubt Rizwan has looked better.

This one trick pony demanded to bat at number 4 for Pakistan in ODI cricket

Theoretically true, but who is there with better back-foot game? In fact a fit Haris Shohail is probably only second to Babar on squire of the wicket, back-foot shots. Only other realistic option could be Fakhar, plays cuts & pulls well, but he might not last long against this mean & tall pace attack, they would consistently test him outside off. Rest, I can’t see….anyone?

Feels weird seeing Shan as our best batsman and prized wicket. But credit to him.

The biggest problem is that players are selected basis domestic performance where conditions are entirely different.
There should be 2-3 teams created to play each other on pitches that can compare conditions in SENA and then players selected based on performance on these tracks. Sounds imaginative but this is the practical way to handle this great mismatch.

Yeah to add to this, i wish they could make the conditions from ground-to-ground in pak change a bit.
e.g. Karachi slower, lahore bouncy, pindi green
would make for captiviting cricket that way and players would get better exposure

Masood has comfortably been the best batter this tour and shown some good captaincy. All the people hating on him were wrong. The disappointments have been Shafique, Babar, and Saud. Just one 50 between them.

Pakistan couldn't win a single home test in their last home season. In Australia this was very much expected.

They played well in the 2nd test, but overall this team is just not good enough.

He is relatively a better batsman against short stuff compared to others. It helps. Most team struggles against bounce here.

Did you think I would disagree?

Babar should have played much better. He’s in horrible form.
When has Babar been in good form lately?

Although he does find some good form against minnows and second/third string attacks on his favoured flat tracks. Hence earning some choice nicknames along the way.

I feel like Mark Waugh is always such a debbie downer. Really don't enjoy his commentry.
