They are getting the defensive bowling option out early. Imad's job would always have been to go at 5 an over in his 10 overs. This is the best time to do that. I think thats the rationale behind it.

Hasan is not a new ball bowler in these conditions. I have seen him going for runs and then losing confidence for whole match. We need him in middle and death overs. Bowling with Imad was the correct move.

Can any stats guy help me how many wickets Hasan tookin his first 6 overs in his entire career?

Look i am all for taking wickets and i am usually against such defensive tactics. But Pakistan have tried "aggression" against India in past few matches and failed. So this is something new. Only the final result would tell us how good or bad this decision was.

I guess but for me in seamer friendly conditions it's a no brainier to bowl with two seamers in first 10 overs.. Bring spinners in 11th over but not in first 10 in such conditions..

Amir is a better swing bowler than Hasan and apart from 1 ball didnt swing it much. It was mostly angle away from the right hander.
This is white kokaburra ball. Overcast conditions doesnt matter here much as seen in other matches as well.
