What's new

India (166/8) clinch a thrilling victory over England (165/9) in the second T20I, leading 2-0 in the 5-match series

Wears 3/4 quarter lenght in all games.

He clearly bends the elbow.

It's not round armish
Waring full sleeves automatically make him a chucker. Ojha did chuck. He was booted out. Axar patel was not even once reported by any umpire. Nobody even discussed about it.

Smith played spin brilliantly during the Pakistan series too.

Strong backfoot player

You need tremendous power to play shots like this. He is getting out to semi part timer Abishek. You cannot go after every single ball.

I am 100% sure Kohli would struggle here against this attack just as badly. They should have attempted a few deft shots behind the wickets

Lot of sixes. But in between lot of low scoring shots. I think they should mix sweep with lofted shot

Carse just did what i suggested them do. You have to score behidn the wicket too to throw bowlers off the line

As Nick Knigh mentions there is hardly any turn on this pitch. They just spooked themselves or pitch is holding up.

Ya.. In this side only Sundar turns. Others doesn't turn that much. You can swing through the line

Isn't Carse a fast bowler? How do overseas seamers have such good batting techniques and our best option is Harshit

India boring side always opting to bowl first. They did the same against Bangladesh

Just bat and smash 220+

Entertain the crowd!

Actually in chennai during summer batting second is a disaster. You can easily defend 150 here.

This India side is much stronger than the one which won the T20 World Cup

That was a pathetic side. Evne this side misses guys likE Riyan Parag tremendous six hitter. Ramandeep another awesome hitter. Probably one guy who can match Glen pHilips on the field. Ofcourse Bumrah, Kuldeep.

165 runs thanks to 9 sixes. If it is against a team that cannot hit sixes this total will be like 130.

Curious to see how the pitch will behave. You rarely get dew at chennai. So that won't be a factor. If it slows down further England can contain India by using cutters after power play.

Why are they not playing Sam CUrran? He is going to play for CSK. This will be his home ground. He has already played once. His cutters will be very useful.

All said and done this series and ODI series will be a good preparation for England coming into CT. They have some powerful hitters all the way. They can make it to semis easily

England has a sniff because India will give chances with aggressive approach. It was mere 130 other day. So collapse was not an issue. But today collapse is nto an option

Openers need to click, think that middle order is a bit thin. Certainly not fully convinced with Tilak against high pace, Jurel is untested

Harry Brook is a phenomenal talent. But he has to improve his game against spinners that bring the ball back in .

Jurel is not a T20 material. Not sure why he was even with this squad. You would rather back Kishan.
