They could have tried him as an opener instead of saim bringing in hussain talat is backward step

There's no need of Talat. He's even slower than M Nawaz. If the team at any point wants a left hander in. Send M Nawaz. He has delivered before against India in Dubai
 
Laanat on BCCI to still continue with this farce of playing with Pakistan. Hopefully Pakistan humiliates them in this game and teaches them a lesson. People in Bharat are really angry with BCCI and humiliating loss will definitely exacerbate that.

I think the way to play Kuldeep is to just go for him.

No point trying to guess. These boys can’t pick him at all.

Jason Roy did that in 2019. Just go for him and go straight down the ground.

this team is best possible imo
Best domestic performers

Even if they lose i have no problem in backing them i want them to win though otherwise doors for rizwan babar will open in t20 team

Abu Dhabi is a different track. But I agree, you might as well throw caution to the wind as Oman did

Shaheen did it too for Pakistan and he was brilliant.

As if they hadn't attacked him. Agha and Hasan were dismissed playing aggressive shots in last match against Kuldeep :klopp :kp

pakistan just need to win first 6 overs today if they bat or bowl first

if they bat go for it in first 6 if they bowl take abhsihek sharma out others are not that hard to deal with

it will setup the match for pakistan

That was a different Kuldeep though. He bowls quicker and with more overspin these days.

But I don't disagree. The best way to play him is how Daryll Mitchell played him. Hit him off his length and make him bowl to your strengths.

But that guy has a very long reach and that was an ODI.

I used to support Agha but if someone like hasan suffers it isn’t worth it. He can’t bat at 8 as a specialist bat, while Hari’s actually can bat low given his main job is wicket keeping.

If Hasan is dropped today it concludes it. We’ve ruined the development of our best t20 prospect for a non performing captain and to a lesser degree to try to get haris to perform (but I don’t blame Haris not his fault).

A player who is so non integral to a side shouldn’t be playing.

He needs to find some sort of role in the team. Makeshift isn’t good enough. He’s not a keeper like Sarfraz or Haris, batting is his literal only job.

Am actually fuming if this is true than Hasan has been dropped now which is mostly down to this captain’s inability to find a position to perform with the bat.

Rohid, the Oman left arm Seamer and others like Farooqi have swung the ball better than he has.

Not sure what the bowling coach is doing

Damage is already done. He’ll have to fight to regain his spot and they’ll be pressure now.

He could still come back for sure.

But it boggles my mind, you are considered the best t20 bat in the team in form at 4 and then suddenly you are moved and shoved around. Not how you develop players. He could have been playing high in form at 4. And now it’s just led to him being dropped from starting xi.

M Nawaz has good bat speed against pace. I am not sure about his gameplay vs spin.
 
Is Khushdil really playing? I can't remember the last time I saw him give a convincing performance in Pakistan colors..
 
If Pakistan win it would have to be by bowling first and Shaheen making an impact in the powerplay. Hopefully he bowls more like he did in the last match and doesn't go out there searching for yorkers and magic balls upfront.
 
Pakistan is desperately trying to build a "cameo unit" where everyone has to produce fast cameos regardless of the ability. Two teams played quiet a few T20 internationals in the year 2025. Australia and Pakistan. Let us compare them for this year.
Pakistan average strike rate is 144 for players who faced 20 balls or more in an innings
Australia average strike rate is 176 for player who faced 20 balls or more in an innings.

They are not even in the same stratosphere.
