Indians have technically correct batters with superb shot selection, excellent defensive technique, ability to rotate strike, 360 degree stroke play.

Pakistan has one dimensional hacks who are very easy to tie down for top tier opposition. Unless the problem is identified and worked on at the grass roots. I don't see things improving any time soon.

They have invested so heavily in the process and there is so much at stake financially that they will always have a pipeline of talent hungry and ready to perform.

I must say, India's development is so elite nowadays. They keep developing batters who are upgraded versions of their modern greats. There is no wait either, as soon as guys like Sachin/Virat/Dhoni/Rohit/Yuvraj etc leave, they have the next batter immediately ready to take the mantle and carry on the legacy. It's disappointing the same culture isn't there for Pakistan. Pakistan's best player is a pace allrounder in Imran Khan and since then we've seen only Abdul Razzaq and nothing notable since to carry on that legacy. Even with Inzi, it took nearly a decade after we found a batsmen in Babar and now a decade after that, there's no one around to pick it up.
