Too early to say. Let him score a couple of centuries first.Shubman Gill - player of the decade 2030. You read it here first
2030-2040
2020-2030 will be Babar’s

The way Aggarwal Sweets and Pujara Bhandar is playing, it looks like a 9 men team.![]()

Half asterisk only because we have to retain the series in order to remove that asterisk completely.![]()
No we don't need to do that.Half asterisk only because we have to retain the series in order to remove that asterisk completely.![]()
Babar isn’t Indian.
Also only so much he can do without a real team to back him up. My greatest fear is Babar retiring without a major victory to his name.
Gill though? Probably will win the 2023 WC and 1-2 T20 world cups towards the second half of this decade. Part of a historic Test win in Australia on his debut. Will likely win many more fantastic games for his team in years to come.
Most of Babar’s best efforts will come in vain. Maybe like Tendulkar, who was unfruitful for large parts of his career though, bless him, Tendulkar got a fairytale ending to his hard work in 2011. Not everyone is lucky enough to get that.
He has played them well last time. But I think he didn’t have this much of a backlift back then.Agarwal is not cut out to play express pace with his high back lift. He needs to change his stance to shine against super quicks like Starc and Cummins.

He is not an Aussie. This forum has many masquerading as Aussies, indians, etcNo Kohli, no Shami, no Ishant....one bowler down in the middle of the test....playing with 10 players....most umpire calls going in Australia's favour...losing the toss - STILL WE BEAT YOU AT YOUR HOME.
Unfortunately you learned the lesson in a hard way. No go hiding where sun don't shine and come back again during 3rd test for more trolling.

No we don't need to do that.
We won a test without 4 main players.
Get out of here, the asterisk has been removed.
Gill Pant Siraj., the future looks bright

Only if you add asterix to our every loss when we had players missing. Or do the double Standards Standards apply to only india. Even in this post your reality seeps out
It is because of Pant we had to chase 70 though. His poor keeping made sure we don't win by an innings. Half asterisk on Indian team because we need to win another test to remove it and a full asterisk on Pant because I am still not sure about his wicketkeeping.![]()
you can tell he is deeply disappointed that we won
Once again you don't make any sense. Why do you even quote me lol? You will once again run away from here.![]()
Dude why the pretence? You don't care about india winning anything . You dont care about tests.
Won without kohli, ishant, shami, yadav and this with Yadav down in this match itself. Batting second too. Most impressive overseas win.
I avoid this forum because now it's infested with trolls like you pretending to be indians and Aussies. This is exactly what killed BBC TMS forum where Indians and Pakistanis used to pretend to be each other and dragged it down
Congrats but clearly scripted to suit the interest of media rights etc. I wouldn’t get too excited about this. The real India is a lot close to 36 AO than whatever Bollywood script played out here.
Stay grounded and real.
India has more wins in Australia than Australia in India.
Sachin was carrying similar Indian team. He used to win matches for India single handedly.
It proves once more that our win in '18 was not a fluke.
Yeah, even the replacements for the injured bowlers are doing great. That's the greatest positive for our bowling.True. Our bowling has become rock solid for SENA tours now. Wish we had 2 more batters like fab 4!
Vihari has to go, just hasn't looked secure at crease at any time.Sunil Gavaskar said "I will have Mayank - Rohit opening, Gill in middle order and Vihari goes out for the third Test".
I'm not agree

Already marked him as the player of the decade in a thread last month.

Only if India wins the series.
There is nothing asterisk about that win. Both India and Australia fielded their best possible teams available at that time, and India won....easily.
No they don't. 2018 India was in peak form when they toured Australia. Entire year revolved around team India strategizing and formulating a plan to win in Australia. Just trust me on this. I don't see Warner or Smith making any difference in 2018. That notion was put to bed. Just in peak conditioned and completely focused on creating history in 2018 when India toured down under.
Btw that wasn't even Indias full strength team.
Jaddu din't play
Yet the same team was marmalised 1-4 by a weak side in England, so I don't rate them.
Can't say as I agree. England beat Australia rather easily home and away in the middles eighties - when Alderman, Hogg, Rackemann, Hohns, Hughes, Yallop and Dyson were all banned. Alderman alone would have made a massive difference - and did, when he returned for the 1989 series which barring the rain would have been 0-6 Australia.
Only if India wins the series.
