That's a beautiful gesture. The groundsmen were the real heros of this Asia Cup. No doubt.Biggest heroes in this Asia cup are Groundsmen. How many times they had to run in run out. Siraj gave away prize money to groundsmen.
Against Bangladesh in 2014 while defending 105When did this happen ? IPL ?
The guy's a model team cricketer. Willing to do whatever it takes to fit into the XI. He got a double hundred as an opener and was dropped next game. Didn't even blink when asked about it.....went on to improve his keeping game to make test debut and also his white ball game to fit in middle order.Ishan Kishan is my favourite Indian cricketer right now. He has a power game but his inns vs PAK in tricky conditions shows he can knuckle down too.
He's already played 50 FC games and averages 39 so he's a proper batsman.
On the other hand, Khushdil and Asif were given extended runs for PAK because of their big hitting reputation. But both average mid-20s in FC cricket.
I'm not saying pick white-ball batsmen on FC averages - but they do give you a hint about whether a batsman has the fundamentals in place.
nah, it was against bangladesh in a low-scoring thriller, India also folded cheaply before that, I guess under 150.When did this happen ? IPL ?
Groundsmen should do some dua puja etc for bcci, without bcci this tournament would not have been in SL at this time in the first placeBiggest heroes in this Asia cup are Groundsmen. How many times they had to run in run out. Siraj gave away prize money to groundsmen.
off course it is from your perspective.
but you and I are not neutral wrt India. So that is why i said, from your perspsective it is not. From my perspective, it is a dream game to have.If a team gets bowled out for 50, do you think that game is a good game?
From a neutral perspective, it was a bad game. Game was over in less than 2 hours.
It happens. India were AO for 36. Do you think anyone in BCCI said anything to the team. If you have played any level of cricket, you will understand that sometimes things happen pretty fast.Sri Lankan Cricket Board should take their players to task for the manner of this defeat. Will be surprised if they dismiss this as just a bad day at the office. The fact this happened to them in front of their jam-packed home crowds makes this defeat even more humiliating.

India were 80 something AO vs SA in India itself. Australia have been bowled out cheaply against England in Ashes test match in 2010-11, I believe it was 98 All out, on Boxing Day (A Major major event in Australia's sporting calendar).Big difference being 36 all out in a foreign country and being 36 all out in your home country in front of sold out crowds
We keep forgetting 36 all out was a pink ball Test. It is well known when the bowler gets to bowl during a specific time of the day they get unusual help from the surface. Happened in India as well. Suddenly Root picked 5 for 8 in the pink ball test in India.Big difference being 36 all out in a foreign country and being 36 all out in your home country in front of sold out crowds
The crowd didn't get their money's worth, did they? That was a letdown for the fans

LOL....if not for that one goal....it would have been Braz-Nil Ger-ManyThis game reminded me of Brazil's 1-7 home defeat against Germany (2014 World Cup semi-final).
