India 144/4 (34.2 ov)

England keep picking wickets at right times so India have no chance off gaining momentum!

Looks like the England offies are doing OK and the quicks are getting hit.

With our bowling line-up we need 350 at least :23:

i will stop watching after our innings :sachin
watching vinay kumar is a heartache :akhtar

Edit:-
Hope sir ravindra jadeja will do something for us so that i can reduce some points in my hate meter for him :)))

All down to dhoni if india are going to get 270 here atleast!

some quick stats,

Dhoni has apparently played 112 days of cricket over the last 12 months - all of them as captain, wicketkeeper and batsman. This does not include all the days he has been practising or training.

How about Appreciating Jadeja!! I think Indian fans are so hard on this 22 year old...

he has been very impressive after the comeback...

wait for some more time..
he did well in England, but occasionally still he does brain fart :afridi

like 4 over throws in the last T20 game

England should fancy their chances if they restrict India to under 300 here.

Although a lot depends on how their bowlers bowl, if it's anything like in England, it's over.. but on the other hand the English bats will have to adapt to the foreign conditions and might collapse in the first game.

i think its a good score already, wicket looks slow,, unless the dew helps the ball come on, dhoni and raina did really good,

raina got lucky with the run out decision

lol Dada disagreeing with Ravi for almost 4th or 5th time today :D shows how rubbish Ravi talks. Dhoni asks for bat...Ravi says its broke. Dada says he is asking for bat with more meat.

Ind 292/7 after 49 overs..

hat-trick hero finn's 9 overs went for 67 runs with a single wicket

:)) Good one from Ganguly.

Dada a true legend :)))

Anyway, the presenter asked Ganguly for his thoughts, arguing that perhaps England look after their players better by pointing out that James Anderson had been rested for this tour.

But Ganguly came straight back at the presenter. "I would say that Anderson has not been rested," he said, "more likely dropped. Did you see how badly he bowled in the World Cup over here? He's OK at the start if the innings when the ball is swinging, but during the death overs he goes all over the park. That is the real reason he is not here!"

Last 16 overs - 161 runs

We score 300 runs for fun in India :yk

300+ was expected/should have been made. I think this shouldn't be hard for the England team.

Some poor stuff from england in last 15 overs after control most off the game.

However, in these conditions 280-300 tend to be par, i think england can chase this down!

Prediction:- England win by 3 wickets

If England lose, you would come back with excuse like this is in India, wicket is flat, indian players are flat track bullies where as england players play only well in seaming condition, they dont know how to play on flat wickets, etc.,

as I said earlier, England are an average team as soon as they enter subcontinent. I have been seeing this for the past 20 yrs, nothing new. I dont see them winning this one. 300 is very good score on this wicket. pitch is two paced. I bet they will struggle here.

^ Their bowlers might be average. As a team I don't think they are average, now they have a good unit going. Batting lineup has good hitters, inexperienced though.

Cricinfo - Vinay Kumar to Pietersen, no run, 131.2 kph, well, this did keep a little low but Pietersen made a meal out of it, bending right down low in an exaggerated manner as the ball took the toe end. He's standing right out of his crease to the quicks

-------------------------

:))) quicks :))) more like spinners :)))

I dont care who win or loses! I dont like India or england!

So this is the first time you are seeing batsman standing out of the crease?

No signs off any really turn from Indias spinner so far.

KP run out, sums up the rubbish day hes had all round!
