correct me if i'm wrong .. but was hawkeye not employed during the india innings and now it suddenly reappears when india are bowling ?

There was none on Day one. Day two I started watching after lunch and there was no LBW chance so not shown.
What the commentators said on Day one is that the stadium people didn't allow them to put the equipment around the ground as it blocks the view of spectators. But is Hawkeye only for tracking the ball on the pitch? Isn't that also used is some way to show the scoring of the players?

I dont know about Hawkeye as I have watched the game live - but they (Neo TV) have been very selective in which replays they show & dont show....

The pitch seemed to breaking up later on in the day and its only going to get worse. There were a few deliveries from Kaneria that spun sharply as well as a couple of deliveries from the quicks that jumped sharply.

A tough test ahead for the Pakistani batsman lies ahead.
