Watching this U-19 team for the first time. Fahad Munir perfectly epitomizes the fake all-rounder obsession in Pakistan cricket today.

I somehow feel that Huraira will be lost in the system but Haider will get a Pakistan ODI/T20 cap with 2-3 years.

Time will tell if he will do well in international cricket or turn out to be a Pakistan Cup specialist like Khurram Manzoor.

For one thing at under-19 level you generally won't have a plan B. You just expect things to go certain way. When it doesn't you find yourself in no man's land. Some kids rise above it and prove their worth.

All Pakistani U19 teams tend to have one or two filler players who aren't good at anything.

Don't think it will take 2 or 3 years. Might see him in the team within a year (especially if he scores in the PSL) or earlier given the dearth of good openers. He does have the talent to be a cross format player but still pretty raw and needs to be handled carefully.
