How bad is the pitch? seeing lot of comments in cricinfo mentioning it.

More than the pitch it was the wrong selection of shots from 5 of the 6 OZ batters that cost their wickets (except Wade's unfortunate Umpire wicket)

LOL

Hughes top scoring.

Least we can sort out who has ticker and who hasn't

In the more important match.

Tasmania are 2/176. Young Silk is 82* and Punter is 20*

A win/draw here and Ponting will win silverware with Tasmania for the first time.

Some of the shots that had lead to OZs downfall so far (remember these may not be necessarily due to the ugly looking pitch)

Warner's Gauti shot (aka fishing outside offstump shot)

Cowan's Poor Sweep shot (learned from the school of Warner/Hughes Sweeping Shots without having 2nd defense)

Watto and Maxwell's coming out of the crease and trying to boss the spinner shot (Clarke's specialty this one is)

How did Hughes get out?

Maxwell's IPL team should be looking for a refund.

:))) though it sounds cruel, they will be praying for him to get injured, he will be a sitting duck in IPL or the 'most expensive bench-warmer' ever

How did Hughes get out?

Tried to play a defensive stroke from the crease of an innocuous looking good length outside off stump delivery from Ishant ending up chopping it onto his middle stump.

At least Ishant troubled Hughes in that over with an vicious looking bouncer arising out of nowhere (in fact it was pitched on good length) making the batsmen to stay inside the crease. So I can understand his apprehension to come forward to defend a good length delivery.

Yet another dubious (non)shot selection from a OZ batter.

Straight ball missed by Johnson.

Ashwin strikes

Poor batting , Aussies won the Toss on all occasions , still lost all Test , it cannot get worse.

Besides Hughes in the morning session, only Steve smith seems to be most assured of all the OZ batters at the crease today.

Looks good to score big runs provided he has some partner to stay with him from the other end.

All four Tests have gone same way ,

Aussies win Toss and get below Par score , India bat them out and then Aussies try hard but fail.

Australia's average of 26.60 in the series is their second-lowest in a series of three or more matches since 1990. The lowest is 23.63 in the series in Sri Lanka in 1999."

Yes it can, we could lose 3-2 to England, that would be worse

Aussies bowling is on par or maybe even slightly better than Eng ( Pacers ) , but spin and Batting , Eng have the edge.

It will be really tough for Aussies to win a game in England.

220 might be a good score.

220 would be a miracle score

Interestingly young Silk managed to face 291 balls today in the shield final.

Looks promising. Tasmanian cricket seems to be doing something right.

The Aussies are a shambles at the moment but we're currently getting our bums kicked in Bag End of all places. So who knows what'll happen in the summer.

They will do well to get 200 I thought they would be rolled for 150 for sure. A very mediocre batting display on what is admittedly a difficult wicket to bat on.

not that bad as Aussies are making it to be..most of them got out on playing stupid shots

It looks to have a lot of variable bounce but we will see it turn into a road when the Indians bat.

As for stupid shots, Shahid Warner, Little Show Max and Shakespeare Cowan all got out to stupid shots. Wade was unlucky, MJ got a blinder and Hughes was well worked over by Sharma for his wicket. Twatto looked like a dunce getting out but it was a good delivery from Rockstar.

Bag End has turned into Mordor?

Wouldn't count it out yet smiths still there and looking good

Well it happened the last 2 times and 27 other times before that. Cricket's doing fine :)

4 times are enough for me for a life time.I am supporting the Aussies and they will do very well if they have their full bowling attack.

6 mins to tea interval

2 overs possible (if Jaddu bowls a quiet quick over now)

Aus can match Eng in the bowling department but it's the woeful batting that's the real problem.

In Eng bowl will swing , so Aussies have a chance , but if it dries up on 4th and 5th day again Aussies lack of quality spin option will hurt them.

Absolutely India's session it was

Bowled 39 overs gave away just 59 runs and got 5 OZ wickets

Excellent over rate too from India

Seems like Aussie ppers lost interest already. Now talking about domestic cricketers. Next, what they'l have for dinner. Next, what brand of shoes they wear. ;-)
